The Bills shared an image of Bush signing his contract after Ian Rapoport of NFL Network first reported the move:

Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reported the deal is for one year and worth up to $3 million.
Rapoport reported July 18 the Bills had targeted Bush to fill the void left by Karlos Williams, who will miss the first four games of the season due to a suspension.
Bush had season-ending surgery to repair a torn MCL in his left knee last November. He previously had a microfracture procedure on the same knee in 2008 while playing with the New Orleans Saints.
Injuries have come to define Bush's career as much as anything he's done in the NFL. The 31-year-old has played all 16 games in a season only twice in 10 years, and the last two years have seen him play a combined 16 games.
Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus did note he would like to see a team use Bush as a slot receiver. It's not a bad idea, considering his body would take less punishment than if he remains at running back.
After multiple surgeries on his knee, as well as factoring in his age, Bush's speed cannot be what it was when he was creating highlights at USC. He must find ways to take advantage of his present skills and protect his body to make an impact for the Bills.
