Benches Clear After Savage Bat Flip in Miami vs. Boston College Game

University of Miami ballplayer Edgar Michelangeli is another Jose Bautista in the making—crushing home runs, flipping bats, taking names.

Remember this from the ACC tournament in May? 

Michelangeli gave an encore performance during a Super Regional matchup against Boston College on Sunday.

And this time the benches cleared. 

Perhaps Boston College didn't appreciate Michelangeli's grand slam, a shot that put the Eagles behind 9-3 in a game they would eventually lose 9-4. 

Or maybe it was more about the hitter's decision to slow down and admire his shot on the way to first base. 

But it was probably the bat flip.
