All eyes, of course, will be on the men and women donning the stars and stripes.
The United States' dominance on the international stage has been well-documented, and it would be a tremendous upset if either the men's or women's team settled for anything less than another gold medal.
Argentina and Spain have proved to be worthy challengers of the United States men, but head coach Mike Krzyzewski's squad won't have to face either power until the knockout rounds at the earliest.
And given the way the groups shook out, the Red, White and Blue men should have no problem coasting through the round-robin portion of the competition and maintaining fresh legs entering the quarterfinals.
