The Carolina Panthers are your NFC champions!
This contest had the makings of an all-time great matchup, but the Panthers put any hopes of a close game to bed early, en-route to a 49-15 victory over the visiting Arizona Cardinals.
After finishing their regular season with a near-perfect 15-1 record, the Panthers rolled over a red-hot Seattle Seahawks team. The next step in their quest for a Super Bowl Championship was to knock off Arizona, and they did so through tremendous play from their quarterback and MVP favorite Cam Newton, as well as their sixth-ranked defense.
The Cardinals, meanwhile, saw their impressive season come to a miserable end. The visiting club turned the ball over a whopping seven times, and couldn't get out of their own way on defense.
It was an incredible showing on the part of the Panthers, and their spot in Super Bowl 50 is well-deserved.
They'll take on the Denver Broncos in two weeks as they continue their trek toward their first Super Bowl in franchise history.
Cardinals 15, Panthers 49
