As noted by City, Kolarov suddenly went down early in the second half against Crystal Palace without any indication of what might have happened. Gael Clichy eventually came on as a substitute, but Kolarov couldn't leave the pitch without the help of a stretcher.

City Will Miss Kolarov's Attacking Instincts

The 30-year-old has been City's regular starter at left-back, where he's been his usual, dominant self, bombing forward to support the attack and shutting down opposing wingers.

Clichy is an experienced replacement who can always hold his own, but City's incisive attacking play loses an added spark when Kolarov's delivery is missing.
