According to USA Today's Sam Amick, the incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the Clippers' 111-104 win over the Kings at Sleep Train Arena, and the cushion struck a fan. Click over to NBA.com to view a video of the incident.
Head coach Doc Rivers, who is Austin's father, jokingly said, "I'm so disappointed as a parent," per Woike.
It wasn't a totally harmless situation, though. Wrote Amick: "The situation caused a stir among Kings fans on hand, as the woman who was hit by the cushion in the second row was clearly experiencing discomfort in her eyes for quite some time after the incident."
Since Rivers looks to have avoided a suspension, he should be available when the Clippers host the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night at 10:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
