Predicting Remaining Stars in Team Wyatt V Team Undertaker Survivor Series Feud

Aaron BowerOct 29, 2015

Every Survivor Series has a traditional elimination match, and this year's event certainly won't need to punch too hard to eclipse Team Cena versus Team Authority from last year's show.

That was a forgettable match to say the least, but this year, hopes are high that WWE has a bigger and more explosive Survivor Series match up its sleeve.

It looks like we're headed for Team Wyatt versus Team Undertaker in November, as WWE commemorates 25 years of the Deadman at the 2015 edition.

Will it be four against four or five on five? Who will make up the remaining numbers on both teams? We can presume Kane will unite with his brother to form part of Team Taker, but where will the other members come from? Let's take a look.

Team Wyatt

There may not be any need to discuss this, but if the match is extended out to a five-on-five matchup, the Wyatt Family are obviously going to need an extra member.

A good way to keep things interesting heading toward Survivor Series would be to have the Authority announce it will be five on five but make sure the Wyatts don't reveal the extra man's identity.

Bray could launch into one of his cryptic promos that leaves everyone confused over who the identity of the mystery man is before revealing it at Survivor Series.

Of course, for there to be a fifth man on Team Wyatt, there has be someone out there who can fill the gap.

Realistically, it doesn't seem like there could be anyone. And having a fifth man on Team Wyatt means the search has to widen for Team Taker.

There's a high chance this will be four against four and that it'll be Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan doing battle at Survivor Series.

Team Undertaker

To whom can WWE turn to fill the gaps on Team Taker?

Two spots are likely needed to be filled in the coming weeks, with Undertaker and Kane set to revive their partnership to try and take down the Wyatt Family.

Interestingly, both men have previous with Bray, which is why WWE needs to employ the same strategy for the rest of the team. Therefore, why not start with a big surprise and, if he's cleared to wrestle, bring Daniel Bryan into the mix?

Bryan and Bray's history goes without saying, and the Wyatt Family played an important role in Bryan's rise to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship last year. That storyline, which saw Bryan become a member of the Wyatt Family, was engrossing to say the least, and to see Wyatt and Bryan renew acquaintances would be fascinating.

It would also provide the shock factor if Bryan returned on the night and make for an explosive edition of Survivor Series. Every time Bryan comes back, the reactions are loud and noisy. Saving his return for a pay-per-view would be similarly incredible.

And with Bryan having a longstanding history with Wyatt, Team Taker should also feature someone who has a more recently volatile history with Bray.

Dean Ambrose and Wyatt have produced some explosive moments in the past, but Ambrose was always reduced to a bystander during Wyatt's feud with Roman Reigns. That seemed a real shame at the time, but with Reigns now entering the world title picture, it's Ambrose's opportunity to shine.

With Taker likely to work limited dates between now and Survivor Series, it could be Ambrose and Kane who take up the responsibility of handling the rivalry for the babyfaces ahead of the PPV. Have Ambrose live up to his Lunatic Fringe nickname by causing all sorts of chaos in an attempt to take down Bray and company.

One more guy who could also realistically go after Bray Wyatt is someone from NXT: Finn Balor.

Balor has seemed ready for a run on the main roster for quite some time now, and holding the NXT Championship doesn't necessarily mean he has to leave NXT for good.

This opportunity to team with the likes of the Undertaker and Kane on the same major pay-per-view would be a great chance for WWE to see whether the Irishman has what it takes to mix it on the big stage.

Balor also has an intriguing look that could so easily see him become part of the Wyatt Family, and fans who haven't seen him compete in NXT would no doubt be impressed if they saw him perform for the first time at Survivor Series.

Elsewhere, one man who could show up at Survivor Series, given how it's one of WWE's four flagship pay-per-views, is Sting. But having him form an alliance with Undertaker would be bizarre given how there's still the potential for a dream WrestleMania matchup between the pair somewhere down the line.

Perhaps Sting could turn on Taker at the end of the match or vice versa, but it's best WWE go with the other guys mentioned in this instance. Sting versus Taker will happen at some point, but this isn't the opportunity to kick it off.
