Ronda Rousey Comments on Potential WWE WrestleMania 32 Appearance
UFC sensation Ronda Rousey has admitted she may not have the time to make an appearance at WWE's WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
Rousey cut a brilliant segment at the showpiece in 2015 alongside The Rock, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. But the UFC women's bantamweight champion has hinted it's unlikely she'll be appearing at the 2016 edition in April at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
"I would love to, but I'm going to be in Jakarta filming my movie," said Rousey when taking part in a fan Q&A session, per Damon Martin of Fox Sports. "If I was really going to be there, would you want to know, or would you want to be surprised? I think a real wrestling fan would want to be surprised."

Rousey is currently in Australia promoting her UFC 193 date with Holly Holm on Nov. 14. It's an occasion likely to cement her reputation as the biggest MMA star in the world, as 70,000 spectators are expected to pack out the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne for the event.
As noted by Sports Illustrated's Jeff Wagenheim, it's Rousey who is the main draw for UFC fans from all over the world, not necessarily the prospect of a brilliant fight:
The UFC will do well to keep Rousey completely to itself. The 28-year-old is about to start filming the movie Mile 22 alongside Oscar-nominated actor Mark Wahlberg in early 2016. Martin wrote that filming for the movie is likely to clash with WrestleMania 32.

However, on his own Twitter account, Martin admitted he still expects Rousey to make the effort to get to Texas for the spectacle:
"For some reason I think this pretty much guarantees Ronda shows up at Wrestlemania #UFC #WWE https://t.co/ujqEoM2ghX
— Damon Martin (@DamonMartin) September 22, 2015"
Even UFC President Dana White, who has never been one to pull his punches in his assessment of the WWE, admitted he was impressed by Rousey's cameo at WrestleMania 31 but couldn't resist taking a dig at the brand.
"The thing she did with WWE was cool, it was cool," said White, per Martin's piece. "She did a great job, I thought it was awesome, but believe me when I tell you she's got a lot of s--t to do. She's pretty busy. Why would you want to see her wrestle when you can see her fight?"

Indeed, White will be hoping most of the upcoming commitments for Rousey are inside the Octagon, where she has crushed her most recent opponents, per BreatheSport:
"Ronda Rousey is the most dangerous unarmed woman in the world... pic.twitter.com/Fyu9858InR

But the higher profile Rousey gets, the better it is for the UFC, so you suspect White won't mind the star of the show getting involved in other lucrative duties. After all, Ronda will only continue to attract more fans from a variety of walks of life to a sport that's already on the up.
It seems as though it's only a matter of time until Rousey gets involved in the WWE again. Her character lighting up what is already a glitzy WrestleMania occasion would be tremendous for fans of professional wrestling and MMA alike. Hopefully, she can make time in her busy schedule to do so.
