Jason Witten Injury: Updates on Cowboys TE's Chest and Return
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with a chest injury. However, David Helman of DallasCowboys.com announced that he was available to play.
Witten has been a full participant in practice this week, so he was expected to play. The veteran has recorded 24 receptions for 232 yards in Dallas' 4-1 start.
Witten has displayed impressive durability over his 13-year career. Between 2003 and 2015, he missed only one game.

New NFL Power Rankings 📊
While his health hasn't been a serious problem over the last few seasons, Witten's performance is clearly declining. His last 1,000-yard receiving season was in 2012, and he averaged a career-low 9.3 yards per reception in 2015. (He's at 9.7 yards per reception this season.)
At 34, Witten is still a dependable target, but his days as an elite NFL tight end are gone. Football Outsiders ranks him 19th at his position in DYAR (defense-adjusted yards over replacement).
