Sprint Cup Chase 2015: NASCAR Standings, Schedule Post-Bojangles' Southern 500
Carl Edwards was flipping out Sunday night at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina. If you follow his career, you know that means he won. After capturing the caution-filled Bojangles' Southern 500, Edwards nailed his signature back flip from his car ahead of his celebration with his team.
NASCAR on NBC captured Edwards' acrobatic dismount from his No. 19 car:
In all, there were 18 cautions in the race. With some help from his pit crew, Edwards was able to overcome the chaos. The win was his second of the season and first ever at Darlington.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Edwards will get most of the attention and glory for his win Sunday, but his pit crew and team helped him overcome some serious adversity early in the race. Edwards had fallen back 20 spots early on, but he and his team showed resolve.
A well-orchestrated and -executed pit stop put Edwards back in the mix and in position to make his move. He raced past pole-position winner Brad Keselowski, who had led for 196 laps, and held off Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 winner Denny Hamlin for the win.
After it was over, Edwards gave credit to his pit crew, per NASCAR on Twitter:
Without the speed and efficiency in Edwards' final pit stop, there's no way he wins that race.
Still on Top

Kevin Harvick is the master of top-five finishes. While he's won just twice this season, he has finished in the top five 18 times. Sunday night's race was his latest. He led for 44 of the 367 laps, and he maintained his hold on the top spot in the standings.
Joey Logano, the man right behind Harvick in the standings, gained a point with his fourth-place finish. Barring a win from Logano and a dreadful performance from Harvick at the Federated Auto Parts 400 in Richmond, Virginia, the latter will go into the Chase as the leader in the standings.

There's just one race left before the Chase begins.
On Saturday in Richmond, Edwards will be trying to make it two straight wins heading into the Chase. If last year's results are any indication, Edwards better enjoy himself during the Labor Day holiday, because his success may be short-lived.

He finished 22nd in the event last year while Keselowski took the checkered flag. Keselowski's inability to win Sunday had to be disappointing after he led for the longest amount of time. If he can repeat in Richmond, it'll likely make Sunday's result easier to handle, though.
