NASCAR at Watkins Glen 2015: Race Schedule, Live Stream Info, Drivers to Watch
It's road-course time again for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with the Cheez-It 355 at The Glen on tap.
With things heating up on the leaderboard after a wild, gas-riddled finish last weekend in Pocono, there doesn't seem to be a better time for Series leader Kevin Harvick and others to clash with the curves of Watkins Glen International.
There, Harvick will look to score another win, Kyle Busch will hope to put his head above the 30th spot and many other drivers will jockey for position as NASCAR enters the home stretch.

Drivers to Watch
Kasey Kahne

Before last weekend's event in Pocono, things looked good for Kasey Kahne when it came to his Chase chances.
It didn't take long for the outlook to change in dramatic fashion.
Just four laps into the race, Kahne barreled into a wall. NASCAR captured the chilling incident:
Instead of putting up a fight all day long, Kahne watched as he plummeted to 15th place in the standings and his Chase odds took a dive. CNBC.com's Eric Chemi ran some percentages:
"Sunday's big loser was Kasey Kahne. He crashed out early. Really early. Lap 4. His dead-last-43rd-place finish knocked him in a big way. He's now on the outside of the Chase looking in, with only a 40 percent chance of getting back. That's nearly half the level he sat at last week, a much more comfortable 77 percent.
"
Kahne hasn't finished better than 19th since June. He finished just outside the top 10 in this event last year, though, so if he's going to get back to form, it needs to happen this weekend. His June finish just so happened to come at the first road course of the season, too, in Sonoma.
Keep a close eye on Kahne as he gets ready to throw it all on the track in crunch time.
Brad Keselowski

Last week was an epic up-and-down tale for Brad Keselowski, to say the least.
Things didn't start great, as the Penske Racing driver's brakes locked on him, which threw him into the spotlight for the wrong reasons thanks to an incident on the pit road:
Still, Keselowski was able to recover and finish second, although it helped that three of the top leaders played their hands wrong (depending on who gets asked) and ran out of gas, opening things up for others.
The finish was the fourth-straight top 10 for Keselowski, who sits pretty in sixth place on the leaderboard. He's a known commodity at The Glen, too, finishing second in 2013 and 35th last year, a number skewed by malfunctioning brakes after running some of the fastest laps of anyone.
In other words, so long as Keselowski's brakes hold, he's a serious threat Sunday, both on the track and the leaderboard.
AJ Allmendinger

Few drivers are as consistent as AJ Allmendinger on road courses.
Call this a bit of deja vu, too—like last year, Allmendinger enters The Glen in need of a win to qualify for the Chase. A bump in the standings wouldn't hurt, either.
Remember last year? Allmendinger understood his situation, led 29 laps and held off the pack to win his first race of the season. In other words, he now features a win, two finishes in the top five and four in the top 10 at the track.
No wonder he sounds so confident going into this weekend, as Autoweek captured:
"I still believe it every day that we have a great shot to win a race and make the Chase and if I didn’t believe it, then I shouldn’t be in a race car. From there, it’s all about being better. Are we a championship-winning team right now? Probably not, but all you have got to do is look at what Ryan Newman showed last year. All you got to do is get into the Chase and you’ve got a shot.
"
It hasn't been the hottest season for the JTG Daugherty Racing star just yet, with his only top-10 appearances coming back in March—before last weekend. In Pocono, he started 22nd and wound up seventh.
Call it a good way to build momentum ahead of a comfortable environment. As always at his stomping grounds, Allmendinger is one of the biggest threats to watch this weekend. His season depends on a strong showing.
