Eddie Lacy Injury: Updates on Packers Star's Ankle and Return
Star running back Eddie Lacy will be active tonight for the Green Bay Packers as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.
Lacy missed most of Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks due to an ankle injury.
On Sept. 21, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Lacy's injury is considered "minor." X-rays on his ankle were negative after the Seahawks game, according to Albert Breer on Sept. 20.

Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson described the scene as Lacy headed to the locker room in Week 2: "Eddie Lacy was heavily taped on sideline and still couldn't put weight on ankle. That's when he was carted to the locker room."
"I felt good enough to be able to keep going longer than what was expected though. It's cool," Lacy said on Sept. 25, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
The third-year back has emerged as one of the NFL's most aggressive runners since making his debut in 2013, and that style allowed him to top 1,100 yards during each of his first two seasons.
With a bludgeoning disposition, Lacy hasn't been averse to bumps and bruises despite missing just one regular-season game over his first two years with the Packers.
In Lacy's absence vs. Seattle, James Starks stepped in to register 95 yards on 20 carries and a fumble lost.
During the 2013 season, Lacy suffered a concussion in Week 2 before suffering another in Week 1 of the 2014 season against the Seahawks. He also dealt with an ankle injury down the stretch of the 2013 season, but that ailment didn't cause him to miss any action.
Given his ability to bounce back quickly and play through nagging pain, Lacy should continue to be regarded as one of the league's most lethal threats out of the backfield. Not only did his yards-per-carry average tick up from 4.1 to 4.6 last year, but he topped 97 yards rushing in five of his final six regular-season appearances and had more than 100 yards from scrimmage in each of his last nine contests.
