Alstom Open De France 2015: Leaderboard Scores and Highlights from Friday
France's Alstom Open in Paris is a tight affair after Friday's second round, with Rafael Cabrera-Bello, Martin Kaymer and Victor Dubuisson locked in a three-way tie for the lead.
All three men are conjoined on four-under par after two days, as play caught up after a rain-soaked opening on Thursday.
Overnight leader Maximilian Kieffer matched his first day effort of a round of 70, but finds himself two shots off the current pace.
The big leaderboard climber of the day was England's Daniel Brooks, who shot a strong round of 66—some seven shots better than his Day 1 effort—placing him tied for fourth.

Home Crowd Cheer For Frenchman Dubuisson

After the inclemency of Thursday's opener, three men positioned themselves at the top of the leaderboard after Friday's action, with home favourite Victor Dubuisson well placed and in contention.
The Frenchman shot a steady round of 70—two shots worse than his Day 1 score—tying for the lead with Rafael Cabrera-Bello and two-time major winner, and former world No. 1, Martin Kaymer.
Dubuisson's three bogeys of the day—at the eighth, ninth and 17th holes—were cancelled out by brilliant birdies on five and 12, and a wonderful eagle-two at the 383-yard sixth hole.
The European Tour highlighted the incredible shot on social media:
The Tour also captured the moment the Frenchman jumped to the top of the board:
Germany's Kaymer continued to show his class and ability on Friday, matching his first round of 69, playing true to form.
The golfer achieved four birdies over his second round, but this was spoiled by a disastrous double-bogey at the 15th, which prevented him from taking the overall lead.
Arguably the most impressive performance of the day came from rank outsider Cabrera-Bello—ranked 92nd in the world—whose round of 70 gave him a share of the spoils.
The Spaniard matched Kaymer's four birdies during his round, but bogeys at the fifth, seventh and 11th holes dampened his score.
The golfer has been in top form in recent weeks, as pointed out by the European Tour:
It was a hugely disappointing day for British icon Lee Westwood and former U.S Open champion Graeme McDowell, with the Ryder Cup heroes missing the cut.
Westwood hit a round of 74 on Friday, with McDowell posting a dreadful 78, seeing the elite pair leave the competition.
McDowell admitted he is way off his top form, but believes his best game will soon return:
With the top 23 golfers separated by just four shots—with two days still left to play—the Alstom Open is anyone's to claim.
Dubuisson will certainly be the player the crowds are rooting for on Saturday and Sunday, but the undoubted pedigree of Kaymer surely makes him the favourite.
Kaymer looks steady and secure in his game, making few mistakes and finding the greens with ease, but Dubuisson will have the wind in his sails as he's cheered from hole to hole.
