Cavaliers vs. Warriors: Live Score and Highlights for 2015 NBA Finals Game 2

LeBron James had 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers put together a gritty effort to outlast the Golden State Warriors, 95-93, in overtime on Sunday night to even up the NBA Finals at one game apiece.

Like Game 1, this bout was yet another classic.

The Cavaliers led 83-72 with 3:13 remaining in regulation, but the Warriors ended the fourth quarter on a 15-4 run to send the contest into overtime. James had a chance to win it at the end of the fourth period, but his layup rolled off the rim.

Overtime was wild.

Cleveland scored the first five points of the extra session to take a 92-87 lead, but the Warriors fought back with a gutsy 6-0 run to grab a 93-92 edge with 29 seconds left.

Draymond Green blocked a James layup attempt, but the ball trickled out of bounds and gave the Cavs another chance.

On the ensuing possession, Matthew Dellavedova secured a huge offensive rebound and was fouled on a putback attempt. The Aussie went to the free-throw line and calmly sank two free throws to put the Cavaliers up 94-93 with 10.1 seconds on the clock.

He then forced Stephen Curry, who had a miserable night, into shooting an air ball with 4.4 seconds remaining. LeBron was fouled and only made one of two free throws, but Curry turned the rock over to end the game.

Curry shot just 5-of-23, going a paltry 2-of-15 from three-point range. His 13 misses from downtown are the most ever in an NBA Finals.

James did not shoot the ball much better, making just 11 of his 34 attempts and missing 16 of his final 20 shots, but his playmaking ability proved vital. He also went 14-of-18 from the free-throw line.

The Cavaliers won despite shooting under 33 percent from the floor. They outrebounded the Warriors, 55-45, and made nine more foul shots than Golden State.

The Warriors shot 40 percent from the field and went 8-of-35 from deep. Klay Thompson led Golden State with 34 points on 14-of-28 shooting.

Timofey Mozgov had a double-double for Cleveland, registering 17 points and 11 boards.
