Arsenal vs. Sunderland: Arsene Wenger Talks Raheem Sterling, James Milner, More
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has batted away questions over the potential signings of Liverpool's Raheem Sterling, Chelsea's Petr Cech and Manchester City's James Milner, but he intriguingly left the door open for all three.
Reports on Monday suggested Sterling will tell Reds boss Brendan Rodgers he wants to leave, per Ben Smith of BBC Sport. Arsenal are one of the clubs linked with his potential signing, reported by James Dickenson of the Express.
During Wenger's pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Premier League match with Sunderland, the Frenchman hinted he won't make a public statement on whether he wishes to buy Sterling.

James Olley of the London Evening Standard reported Wenger's teasing comments:
More of the manager's thoughts were posted by Sky Sports (via Audioboom):
Cech and Milner also continue to be linked with a switch to north London, reported by Jamie Sanderson of the Metro and Jeremy Cross of the Daily Star respectively. Wenger remained tight-lipped on both, per Olley:
Wenger spoke further on Milner, reported by Adrian Kajumba of the Mirror: "29 is not old. We have a big squad at the moment and that is not in mind at all. I make my decisions after the season. We are in front of a big game tomorrow and are focused on that."

Arsenal's quest to gain ground on Chelsea could be helped by incoming changes to UEFA's financial fair play rules. UEFA President Michel Platini told French radio station RTL spending restrictions may be "eased," reported via Matt Slater of BBC Sport. Wenger has never been a great lover of the half-hearted implementation of FFP, as reiterated during his presser, per Arsenal's feed:

Wenger's men will confirm at least a third-place finish if they beat Sunderland, a side who are battling for survival with two games to go. Injuries continue to affect Arsenal's squad, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Welbeck set to miss the fixture:
Centre-back Laurent Koscielny may also sit out, tweeted by the Gunners:

Arsenal have grabbed just one point from their last two matches, ending an unbeaten run of 10 games in disappointing fashion. The danger on Wednesday is that, with little to play for the home side, Sunderland could take advantage to sneak away from the drop.
Dick Advocaat's men did exactly that during the recent 2-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park, a potentially season-defining result. The Black Cats are unbeaten in four matches and are playing some of their best football of the season. A point will see them remain in the Premier League next season.
Arsenal fans will be expecting a simple victory, but as highlighted during their recent home loss to Swansea City, things don't always go to plan.
