Olivier Giroud Says He Gets 'Pissed' at People Obsessing over His Good Looks

Mark PattersonApr 28, 2015

Olivier Giroud is known for being an Arsenal striker and a handsome man, but he has said he would prefer only to be thought of for the former from now on.

The Frenchman has scored 18 goals this season, and he was praised by his manager Arsene Wenger for his animal instincts in the build up to Sunday's 0-0 draw with Chelsea.

Giroud was asked about it and said: "I don’t want to speak any more about my appearance, my hair or anything, I get pissed about that."

He added:

"

I don’t know (if I am an animal). I know one thing, in sport you have to question yourself every week and be ready in your head and you have to be at 100 per cent of determination if you want to keep going and win games, you cannot afford to be at 80 or 90 per cent.

"

Arsenal can finish second in the Premier League table with a strong finish, although the chances of catching Chelsea are slim to none after the draw at the Emirates.
