Stephen Curry Reportedly Would Have Drawn Foul Call If He Missed Game-Tying Shot
The NBA may be acknowledging a botched non-call on Stephen Curry's miracle three-point shot at the end of regulation to send Game 3 of the Golden State-New Orleans series into overtime. The Warriors won 123-119 to take a 3-0 lead.
Per Marcus Thompson of The Bay Area News Group, the officials were prepared to call a foul if Curry's shot did not go in:

Chris Towers of CBS Sports passed along the officials report that showed Curry should have been sent to the free-throw line:
On the shot attempt, which can be seen in the video embedded below, Curry takes a pass from Marreese Speights in the corner with Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans closing in on him and buries a three-pointer to complete a 20-point fourth-quarter comeback by the Warriors that sent the game into overtime.
The good news for the Warriors is they were able to get the win in overtime, saving the officials a potentially embarrassing situation for not calling a foul on the play. If it is determined that a foul should have been called, the NBA will make officials aware of it in the game report.
Perhaps the officials were blinded by what they just saw, because Curry's shot was spectacular on its own. It's even better when you put it in the context of a 20-point comeback. Curry finished the game with 40 points, nine rebounds and five assists, but none were bigger than those three.
