LeSean McCoy Is in Buffalo, Wearing Buffalo Bills Gear, and It's so Weird

Don’t avert your eyes. We have to do this together. 

No matter how wrong it feels, we must gaze upon the sight of LeSean McCoy wearing Buffalo Bills blue and try to metabolize the reality that “Shady” is now the rallying point for another hard-bitten NFL fanbase. 

McCoy made his journey to Buffalo on Tuesday. The running back posted video of himself boarding a “G5” flight bound for western New York. 

In lieu of dropping by one of Buffalo's legendary local eateries, McCoy made his first stop at the New Era Cap Company headquarters, where he picked up some fresh gear that will make every fan everywhere feel invisible worms crawling in their chest. 

Why does this feel so weird? Players change teams all the time, so what about this is extra awkward?

Is it the stark dark-green-to-royal-blue color change? Is it because McCoy always felt like the atomic edge of the Eagles? A living totem of get-bent Philly swagger?

I don’t know, but what I can tell you is that I didn’t feel strongly about Chip Kelly shipping off his sharpest blade for Kiko Alonso and his troublesome knee before this picture. Now I may never forgive him.

 It just...looks wrong, guys. But we must accept it. Acceptance is the only way forward.
