Irish bookmakerย Paddy Power conducted the poll by asking American women which stars took their fancy:ย
"We took 300 pictures of Premier League footballers (two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three strikers from each of the 20 teams) and asked 250 American women, unfamiliar with UK sport, to rate these sporting gods purely on physical attractiveness.
