Super Bowl Halftime Show 2015: Final Prop Odds List, Predictions for Katy Perry
It's likely the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will produce an enthralling Super Bowl due to their star-studded casts. However, those competing players aren't the only ones generating plenty of interest before the big game, as halftime performer Katy Perry continues to make headlines.
The pop sensation won over football fans with her appearance on ESPN's College GameDay, boldly predicting Ole Miss to upset Alabama. Once her prediction came to fruition, she rushed the field along with the students and fans and was later seen celebrating at a local watering hole.
Only a few months later, she was announced as the Super Bowl's halftime headliner.

The halftime show has been highly unpredictable and filled with surprising occurrences, such as Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction and M.I.A's infamous gesture. Although, according to an interview with Jonathan Ringen of Billboard, Perry doesn't think such incidents will take place this year:
"I'm going to meet up with [2014 halftime performer Bruno Mars] and he'll tell me whatever there is to tell. Although I don't know how much there really is. You can't control other people, and hopefully they're on the same path with you. My special guests don't have any agenda other than the music. But you can never be too sure.
"
So, we should be expecting a family-friendly performance this year. Unfortunately, that information doesn't help us with any of the prop bets associated with Perry's halftime show. So, let's do a little digging and attempt to predict each available wager for the impending performance.
Katy Perry Halftime Prop Bets
Which song will Perry perform first?
- Firework (3-2)
- Roar (3-2)
- This is How We Do (5-1)
- Dark Horse (12-1)
- E.T. (12-1)
- Wide Awake (12-1)
- Waking Up In Vegas (20-1)
The two songs that really stand out here are "Firework" and "Roar." They are both huge hits and are absolutely Super Bowl-type anthems. But which will Perry sing first? Well, here's what she had to say about the songs during an interview with The Associated Press, via Syracuse.com:

"I'm all about female empowerment and uplifting people's spirits, and people finding their own voice with songs like 'Roar' and 'Firework,' so maybe there is no better person [for the show]. Hopefully I can bring that incredible strength and empowerment to people through the performance."
She did mention both songs there, but the song that better exemplifies the empowerment she spoke of is "Roar." Expect her to lead into the halftime show with that hit and, as Lindsey Weber of Business Insider indicates, end with "Firework."
If a little more confidence is needed, take this into consideration: An insider recently told Us Weekly the singer will be, in fact, opening with "Roar" and closing with "Firework."
Prediction: Roar
What will Perry be wearing at the beginning of the show?
- Skirt or dress (4-5)
- Pants (2-1)
- Shorts (2-1)

Perry is known for her incredibly colorful costumes, and apparently she isn't sticking to just one look during the Super Bowl halftime show. During the Super Bowl media day, she told Us Weekly of her strategy, "If I have 12-and-a-half minutes I'm going to take the opportunity to show off a few looks."
Although, there's still the question of which costume she'll be wearing first. Well, luckily for us, that trusty Us Weekly source struck again. According to the insider, Perry's first costume will be "an orange, red and yellow short ensemble with plenty of sequins."
If you caught it, the key word there was "short." Go ahead and take this one to the bank.
Prediction: Shorts
What color will Perry's hair be at the beginning of the show?
- Black/brown (2-1)
- Pink/red (3-1)
- Blue/green (3-1)
- Blonde (4-1)
- Purple (5-1)

During Perry's recent interview on Super Bowl media day, her hair was brown. Of course, that's certainly likely to change once she's in costume for the halftime show. Quite possibly the best way to determine what color her hair may be is to take her wardrobe into consideration.
Since the Us Weekly source divulged her costume would be orange, red and yellow, we can assume she'll go all out and match her hair to the ensemble. Interestingly enough, orange isn't an option for this prop bet, and since her natural hair color is blonde, expect her to steer away from the norm and go with red.
Prediction: Red
