We all know who Allen Iverson is right? No I mean really do you know who Allen Iverson is?All I hear is that AI is ball- hogging , washed up, selfish, nonpracticing Cancer. Really? Alright well lets check his track record.

NBA Rookie of the Year (1997)
NBA All-Star Rookie Game Most Valuable Player (1997)
 1997 NBA All-Rookie Team
 NBA Most Valuable Player (2001)
 2x NBA All-Star Game MVP (2001, 2005)
 3x All-NBA First Team
 3x All-NBA Second Team
 10x NBA All-Star
 3x Steals leader (2001, 2002, 2003)
 7x All-NBA selection
 4x NBA scoring champion (1999, 2001, 2002, 2005) Plus he's fifth all-time in PPG with 27.1

Now first I'm going to address Allen being a ball hog. AI has been a Shooting Guard for most of his career. Passing the ball is not a shooting gaurd's primary focus, it's scoring and for shooting guard Allen Iverson puts up nice assist numbers. Now lets compare him to the best player in the league and 2009 finals Mvp Kobe Bryant passing wise. Now AI's career average for assist per game is 6.2 and Kobe's is 4.6 but I dont hear much about Kobe being selfish. I even heard someone on TNT say Kobe could average 10 assist per game if he wanted to but the most he ever averaged in a is 6 back in 2004. Back to AI, from the 02-03 season to the 07-08 he's averaged 6.8, 7.9,7.4,7.3,7.2, and 7.1 APG. If anything thing Allen is a underrated passer, I saw AI throw a 45 foot pass between Grant Hill's legs to Rip for a layup this year. Look it up on youtube. That's why I think he's not ball-hog, ball handling is just how he scores deal with it.

I not going to spend much time on the topic of him being washed up. The year before this past season AI put up 26.4 ppg, 7.1 apg, and 2 spg. This past season he put up 17.4 ppg, 4.9 apg, and 1.6 spg holding back and trying to fit in with a Pistons team that wasn't getting any better even with Chauncey Billups.

Next, Practice? It's 2009 and people are still talkin bout PRACTICE. For all of you people who are still stuck on the 2002 practice rant don't even comment on this article . He missed only one practice this season and it's was on Thanksgiving. I think if you going to miss a practice let it be on a day like Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Last on my list is AI being a selfish cancer to any team. We all know Allen was nothing short of great in Philly and no one can tell me otherwise. When Allen first came to Denver he was basically still playing with that Sixers that traded him team because with Melo being suspended and Camby and Kmart out the team was just Al,Earl Boykins, and Steve Blake until those three came back. From 07 to 08 Allen and the Nuggets got their best record in 20 years but lost to the same team they lost to this year(Lakers). Then he was traded to the Pistons who forced him to play their way which was only leading to disappointment year after year. Then later this year Allen came off as selfish because he was unhappy with playing an average of 16 minutes in 3 games after already having his minutes cut from 41 to 36 when first came to the Motor City. The bench wasn't the problem and it isn't really a problem now. Allen wants minutes and if you want to bring him in to win he needs minutes. When you sacrifice your game to fit in with your new team that's called being unselfish,so please people stop with the cancer talk. Let's talk about how badly Tayshawn,Rip, and Sheed played this year. I never seen Allen Iverson defer more shots than he did this past season. The best point of the Pistons' season was their seven game winning streak led AI when Sheed and Rip missed some games because of injuries.

So do I think Allen is a ball- hogging , washed up, selfish, nonpracticing Cancer. NO!!!!

Ar far as where I think AI should go, I think he should go to Miami and here is a link to a article with perfect reasons why he should.
