Chelsea Transfer News: Blues Must Work to Secure Thorgan Hazard's Loyalties
The revolving door of Stamford Bridge is at risk of seeing Thorgan Hazard depart its borders on permanent terms next summer after the Belgian revealed his interest in a move away from Chelsea.
The younger brother of Blues superstar Eden is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, and despite not giving a clear statement of his intentions, the London Evening Standard's Simon Johnson quotes Hazard in teasing the idea:
"It's an option to stay at Gladbach longer. But it's just too early to talk about it now. The decision will be made towards the end of the season. I feel great here."

The 21-year-old is yet to make his Chelsea debut since moving to West London from Lens in 2012, but Jose Mourinho would be smart to hang onto a player showing extreme promise in the responsibilities he has been given.
Hazard spent back-to-back seasons on loan with Belgian side Zulte Waregem after completing his English switch, collecting the 2013-14 Belgian Player of the Year award to go along with his 2013 Belgian Golden Shoe.
This summer's temporary switch to Gladbach gave the youngster a new challenge in stepping up to the Bundesliga's level, but Hazard is responding to the call in precisely the manner Chelsea would have hoped.
Per the official Bundesliga Twitter account and OptaFranz, Hazard is adapting to the German top flight's requirements and recently starred as string-puller in a win over Hertha Berlin:
As many a younger sibling have found out in the past, merely being related to a star talent isn't good enough at the elite level, especially at a club such as Chelsea, who have to be as cutthroat as possible in selecting their tools.
However, given his age and the promise he's shown while being farmed around European shores, Hazard is surely a project worth investing more time in.
It's inevitable that he will seek increased seniority as time wears on and his own reputation improves. This season, the attacking midfielder has made 20 appearances across all competitions for the Foals.
However, with Hazard's contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire in 2016, the club has to make a decision in either extending his deal or allowing his talent to move away.
At this juncture, it seems plausible that Hazard could at least offer an outlet on par with the likes of Mohamed Salah or Ramires, each of whom are steadily seeing their involvement under Mourinho decline.
It's the potential in Hazard that makes him a preferable candidate to offer backup to the likes of Cesc Fabregas and brother Eden. Others in the squad are more senior and hold a known prospect, while there is still so much to come from the Belgian international.
The playmaker is at a crossroads, teetering on the brink of Chelsea's first team as the likes of Kevin de Bruyne or Marko Marin have in recent years, only to find that what they possess doesn't reach expectations.
Chelsea are used to only resting their hopes and surefire talent. However, in Hazard's case, it may be worth taking a risk and handing the up-and-comer more responsibility next season in the hopes they can unearth a second devastating talent in the Hazard gene pool.
