Let me start this article by firstly congratulating Arsene Wenger and Arsenal by shipping out the most un-loyal, team dividing, big egoed, money grabber, Adebayor, and once more getting £25m for the one hit wonder.

Now we have £25m to spend, and we need to spend it. Last season we were short of replacements for the main squad and it showed, with a trip to Manchester City coming into mind.

We have got rid of a striker and in my opinion we need to buy to replace him, Ade was only a 15 goal a season type striker but he still needs replacing.

In my eyes the perfect replacement would be Real Madrid striker Klass Jan Huntelaar.

At 25 years old, he has the experience needed and still has the peek of his career to show. He made 20 appearances for Madrid last season and netted eight goals, which if analysed is nearly one every two games.

He has had an impressive career with Ajax, scoring 105 goals in 136 appearances.

He also has a fair goal tally with Holland with 13 goals in 21 appearances.

Last summer it looked as if Klaas was on the verge of joining Manchester United or Arsenal, and with United looking to of landed the Striker Real Madrid swooped in and finally made the Dutch international a Madrid player.

During this Summer's window there have been links that Arsene Wenger is once again setting his sights on the three time former Dutch Striker Of The Year.

However, it is thought that Tottenham are also interested and are thinking of making a bid. But wages would be a stumbling block, and Spurs Boss Harry Redknapp says he "doesn't see the move a real possibility," no pun intended I'm sure.

Hunlelaar looked set to sign for Stuttgart but the deal was stalled and as of yesterday (22nd july) it looks as if Stuttgart have pulled out of the move. The reason for the stall appears to be Huntelaar holding out for a bigger club.

Klass has said that he would welcome a move to the Premier League and is fond of the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal.

With all these facts in mind could Arsenal be about to splash some of the cash made buy the Adebayor sell?

Would Huntelaar strike a great partnership with Van Persie?

What do the Arsenal Fans make of the Dutch star and do they think its the right move for the Gunners?

Hope you enjoyed the read.
