Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest Rumours Circling Carlo Ancelotti's Side
An 8-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday assured the Santiago Bernabeu that things might be looking up for Real Madrid after a rocky start to their 2014-15 campaign.
This summer's transfer arrivals are beginning to have their impact for Carlo Ancelotti, while those departed, such as Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso, may no longer be missed quite as sorely with the squad progressing.
That being said, Los Blancos are a side ever looking to improve, and the latest speculation surrounding the side suggests this winter could see figures both coming and going when next the transfer window klaxon sounds.
Karim Benzema

Despite signing a five-year extension in the Spanish capital over the summer, Karim Benzema's position within the Real squad looks as though it will never quite reach a level where it escapes the drama of transfer gossip.
Spanish outlet fichajes.net (h/t Metro) reports Liverpool are looking to launch a refreshed bid for the Frenchman in 2015, but they may have to hold out until the summer, with Real unlikely to sell their striker mid-season.
Benzema wasn't among the scorers in Saturday's win over Depor, but ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan nevertheless rated his efforts as being among the most crucial in earning a result:
With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and now James Rodriguez each looking to have a major impact on the team's goal count, Ancelotti's system isn't one that necessarily calls for a prolific central figure.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are somewhat more reliant in possessing a natural goalscorer, as was depicted by Luis Suarez's Premier League Golden Boot success in 2013-14.
Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert were brought in over the summer, but Brendan Rodgers would appear adamant to continue his pursuit of Benzema, undoubtedly an expensive target given Real have no desperate need to sell.
Javier Hernandez

Javier Hernandez may have ruled out any chance of returning to Manchester United once his loan spell at Real has come to an end.
Speaking to Claro Sports (h/t Anthony Chapman of the Express) after scoring twice in Saturday's 8-2 mauling, Chicharito spoke of the Red Devils as if they were a thing of his past, saying:
"There was no confidence. I remained patient and that's why I'm here today. It was a very tough year especially because they didn't believe in me. I had the chance to meet Ancelotti when he was Chelsea coach. The faith he has in his players motivates me and makes me work hard.
I really want to make the most of my time here. Any footballer dreams about joining Real Madrid. I know I'm here for a reason. The statistics support me, I'm a good player and a good person.
"
Even in a substitute capacity, life at the Bernabeu has started well for the Mexican international, who will look to assert himself more on Ancelotti's starting XI as things move forward.
Squawka tells us that Hernandez's Real tenure, though still in its infancy, already sees him breaking down personal barriers:
It's a long season to come and there awaits many a twist and turn in what could be a make-or-beak campaign for Hernandez in terms of his career prospects.
That being said, with United boss Louis van Gaal lining up a new selection of attackers back at Old Trafford, it may be that Real or another club look to lure Hernandez on permanent terms next summer.
