Jordan Cameron's Updated 2014 Fantasy Outlook Heading into Week 3
Fantasy owners of Jordan Cameron were left scrambling to find a replacement before the Browns' Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints, but the star tight end could be back to putting up his usual ridiculous numbers as early as Week 3.
Cameron sprained his AC joint in the preseason and reaggravated the injury in Week 1 to cause for major panic for both fantasy and Browns fans, but Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported no structural damage.
Still, more reason for concern came when he was kept out of Week 2 and Jim Dray started in his place.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With a potentially serious injury to such an important part of the offense this early in the season, it's not surprising for the Browns to err on the side of caution in Week 2—and most importantly, it worked. The Browns pulled out the win.
But as the Akron Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich reported, he's made some strides in the days since:
Sure, there were reasons to be worried after Cameron's early-season injury woes. But with his health improving over the weekend coming on the heels of news that the injury wasn't serious, his return to prominence is on the horizon.
Cameron caught two passes for 47 yards before leaving the opener against the Steelers, showcasing the big-play ability and vertical threat that made him one of the league's top tight ends in 2013.

It has to be frustrating for his owners given his high draft value that those are his only numbers through two games, but opting to play anyone else—should he return in Week 3—would just be foolish unless you have an outstanding bench tight end.
Cameron is still owned in 99.3 percent of ESPN leagues and was started in nearly 80 percent of them despite his missing the game.
The Browns face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, who have given up a little more than 60 combined yards to tight ends in their opening two games. But Andy Dalton and the Bengals had their way in the passing game in Week 1 against the Ravens, and Brian Hoyer could do the same if his 43-of-71 passing for 434 yards and two scores to start the season is any indication.

Hoyer has proved able to torch secondaries despite the Browns' depleted receiving corps, so you know that he's dying to get one of his favorite targets back in action. If Cameron makes his return in Week 3, it should be immediately followed by another strong performance.
Keep an eye on the developments surrounding Cameron's health throughout the week. He still hasn't been cleared to play, but if he is, you'll want to get him back in your starting lineup as soon as possible.
