WWE News: Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton Could Be Set for Post-WrestleMania Feud
With WrestleMania XXX now just days away, all eyes are firmly focused on this yearโs Showcase of the Immortals.
The event promises to be one of the biggest of all time, with the debut of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the defence of The Undertakerโs 21-0 streak and an as yet unspecified Triple Threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
But onceย all the excitement has come to an end, what can we expect to see from the WWE in the months that follow 'Mania? Who will dominate storylines as we head into the summer?ย

Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors ๐

Modern-Day Dream Matches ๐ญ

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns ๐ญ
As ever in the world of professional wrestling, itโs difficult to know for sure. But the companyโs schedule for live events could give us some form of indication of whatโs to come in the months succeeding the Show of Shows. WrestlingINC.com reports the following:
"For what it's worth, Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton is scheduled to headline WWE live events after WrestleMania 30. Bryan & John Cena vs. Orton & Bray Wyatt is also the scheduled dark match for several RAW tapings, including the April 21st RAW from Baltimore and the May 26th RAW taping in Knoxville, TN.
"
While this doesnโt necessarily offer us any concrete answers, itโs interesting news nevertheless. So does thisย suggest that either Bryan or Orton will leave WrestleMania as the WWE champion and then continue to feud with one another in the not-so-distant future?
I may be getting ahead of myself here, but this may well be the case if history is anything to go by. Superstars embroiled in on-screen rivalries are often paired with each other for both dark matches and house shows.
Not only does this give the fans in attendance a glimpse of the best action that the company has to offer, it also enables those feuding stars to learn each otherโs game and develop better chemistry without the pressure of the TV cameras and a worldwide audience.

Not that Bryan and Orton need the extra practice, of course,ย but that doesnโt change the fact that matches at live events often shadow those on-screen feuds.
Furthermore, it was recently reported that the WWE was planning a post-WrestleMania push for Bryan, which would see him remain as one of the companyโs top two guys.
Our theory of Bryanย battling Orton for theย goldย is congruent with such prior reports.ย But that being said, weโve also seen prior rumors that suggest Batista will be coming out of WrestleMania season as the WWE champion.
Of course, itโs safe to say that Batistaโs return has not exactly gone according to plan. The company has already backtracked on his babyface push, turning him heel after the crowd simply would not warm to the returning movie star.ย It wouldnโt be too surprising if the powers that be had another change of heart and scrapped his prospective world title run altogether.
I expect Bryan to be heavily involved in the world title picture in the months that follow WrestleMania. Perhaps Iโm reading too much into the news of the live schedules, but their historic reflection of on-screen feuds, as well as recent news stories regarding Bryanโs future plans, suggest that Bryan vs. Orton could well be revisited in the coming months and presumably with the WWE championship up for grabs.
If this does prove to be the case, does it mean that Bryan will emerge from the Showcase of the Immortals with the coveted straps? Or will he fall short, hence the need for him to continue his pursuit of the gold in the coming months?
On a completely separate note, perhaps Batista will win the gold and leave Bryan and Orton to battle one another in a grudge match with no titles on the line?
While we have no concrete answers yet, we certainly have a few signs to go by. But while we wait for these events to fully unfold, please feel free to comment below with your thoughts on this news and any of the points that were discussed in the article.
