Seattle Seahawks Fan Gets 'Super Bowl XLVIII Champs' Tattoo
Genius? Or terrible jinx?
Some Seattle Seahawks fans may be confident in their team's chances of winning the Super Bowl, but none have committed as fully as the fan who already has it written in ink.
Indeed, ESPNās Darren Rovell recently tweeted a picture of an arm bearing a tattoo of the Seahawks logo, along with the words "XLVIII Champs."

According to Rovell, a man named Tim Connors is forecasting a big Seahawks win this February, and he had the stones to inscribe this belief into his skin for all the world to see.
Even more gutsy, Connors allegedly had this work done at the "beginning of the season."
This is one of those moves where you're either a hero or a complete jackwagon. There's no in between when you decide to ink your teamās impending Super Bowl victory into your flesh.Ā
If you're right, you get to be the guy who had faith all along. If you're wrong, you go home and stare at how wrong you were until you can figure out a way to have the ink altered.Ā
Love the gumption? Hate the arrogance? Regardless of what you think about this tattoo, we can all agree that the stakes have risen for this weekendāif that's even possible.
The Seahawks kick offĀ SundayĀ against Colin Kaepernick and theĀ San Francisco 49ers at 6:30 p.m. ET, and I'd be lying if I told you I won't be thinking of this man and his tattoo toward the end of the game.Ā
Look for word of this portentous ink to spread by Sunday, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this tattoo show up on television should things come down to the wire.
Tim Connors: Legend or Wrigley goat? We shall see.
