Arsenal's Per Mertesacker Blasts Mesut Ozil for Not Applauding Away Gunners Fans
It wasn't a great day for Arsenal on Saturday. The Gunners lost 6-3 at Manchester City, and also saw central defender Laurent Koscielny stretchered off.
The least Arsenal players could do was applaud travelling fans after the game, but—according to the Mirror's John Cross—Mesut Ozil failed to do so:
Here's a picture which appears to show Ozil's fellow German international Per Mertesacker reading him the riot act:

Later on Saturday, Ozil offered this apology via his official Facebook page.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was wasn't worried about a possible breakdown between Ozil and Mertesacker. "That is the Germans, they will sort that out between themselves," he said, as per NBC Sports.
