Can David Hart Smith Fill His Father's Shoes?

There is another Hart among the WWE superstars, David Hart Smith. His father is Davey Boy Smith, his cousin is Natalya Niehardt, one of his uncles is Brett Hart another uncle is Jim "The Anvil" Niehardt (Natalya's father). There is a string of generations of wrestlers in his family.

David appeared on the WWE scene about four months ago, but it was a brief appearance and then out of nowhere he comes back, stronger and bigger. Trained by the Hart Dynasty in Calgary Alberta Canada, one can only wonder if he is anything like his dad. Well yes he is.

Standing at 6'5" and weighing in at 265 lbs, he is a force to be reckoned with. Along with Smith is Tyson Kidd, also trained by the Harts. Both wrestle in the ECW.

As of late, David has had a small feud with ECW champion, Christian. Seems like Hart may want to go for the belt in the future, if Jack Swagger, former ECW Champion, doesn't win it back first. Hey, he just might go for it even if Swagger did get it back.

At the present time though, Swagger and Smith seem to hit it off. Christian will be in a match and Smith will jump in or Swagger will. If it were to happen where they hooked up as tag team partners, there would be no stopping them. Together they could very easily rule the ECW.

You can see alot of Davey Boy Smith in his offspring. Smith says that he is better than his father ever thought of being. That's where he is wrong.

David's father was one half of one of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history, The British Bulldogs. They brought so much excitement and raw talent to what WWE was known back then the WWF.

Between the Hart Foundation and The British Bulldogs, they had the tag teams intimidated by their quickness, their brawn and their love for the sport.

David could only hope to be half as good as his late father. Just have to wait to see what the future holds for this young, strong, superstar, the son of one of the all time great wrestlers.
