Although we are only four months removed from WrestleMania 29, WrestlingInc.com is already reporting that WWE officials are discussing plans for next year’s WrestleMania.

According to the report,

WWE officials recently had discussions on the WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view in 2014 and already have worked out a plan for the top of the card. They are still looking at Brock Lesnar vs. either The Rock or The Undertaker as one of the main events.

This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise since rumors about Sting began a few days ago.

According to those rumors,

As seen on last night's RAW, WWE included current TNA star Sting in their video packages looking back at former World Heavyweight Champions.

F4Wonline.com reports that Sting was included in those video packages for a reason.

Word is that Sting is once again interested in joining WWE. While he hasn't opened direct negotiations with the company, he has sent feelers to WWE about joining them. There is said to be a lot of confidence on WWE's side that Sting will be on their roster eventually.

It seems likely that if Sting does finally make it to WWE, he will face Undertaker at WrestleMania 30. This will allow Lesnar and Rock to face one another at the same event.

There is a great deal of commotion among the Internet Wrestling Community regarding these two matches.

For Sting and the Undertaker, this was a match made in heaven at least a decade ago. Now, both Superstars are at the end of their careers and one can only wonder if they can still deliver a quality match. Seeing the Undertaker impress me year after year, I am not worried. I still think Sting and Undertaker will put on the best match of the night.

In terms of The Rock and Lesnar, they are two part-time wrestlers that have had questionable tenures since returning to the company. The Rock ended CM Punk’s 434-day reign as WWE Champion, while Lesnar feuded with Triple H for longer than I would have liked to see.

Although they are two part-time wrestlers and I would have no interest in a match between them, WWE sees money in Lesnar and Rock. Therefore, it makes sense from a business perspective to have them at WrestleMania 30. In fact, I would prefer to see them against one another than against the younger stars. Superstars like The Shield, Big E. Langston and Daniel Bryan should be in more important matches. Feuding with The Rock or Lesnar does very little for their characters.

It remains to be seen if the Sting vs. Undertaker and Lesnar vs. Rock come to fruition as we are so far from April 2014. At the same time, if last year’s WrestleMania was supposed to include big names, next year is looking ginormous.

What do you think of the rumored plans for WrestleMania 30? Who would you like to see The Rock, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker face at the show of shows? Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.
