Round 5 announced today that they are adding four big name fighters to the Series 4 release set for June, a month prior to UFC 100. They've picked four of the most popular and most accomplished fighters to lead this new installment:
Dan Henderson, Cung Le, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Matt Serra.
Damon Lau, CEO of Round 5, also confirmed today that Series 3, which features Andrei “The Pit Bull” Arlovski, “Big John” McCarthy, Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira, will be in stores across North America. The series are also available on online outlets including their www.round5mma.com, in late May.
“With six figurines, Series 4 will be our largest issuance to date,” said Lau. “Adding four more of the biggest names in the sport – with wide fan bases – to what began as an already stacked set is huge for Round 5 and a great opportunity for fans to quickly add to their collections.”
Round 5 has released two Series of four athletes each:
Series 3 was schedule to be released in April, but was delayed and until May.
“The Series 3 prototypes have been completed and are currently in production,” said Lau. “It took a little longer than we had originally anticipated, but we feel that the finished product is well worth the extra wait.”
Round 5 is the leader in collectible figurines, designed specifically for mixed martial artists. They are not only intricately detailed, but they capture the true personality of each fighter.
“Rampage” Jackson’s figurine comes included with chain and perfectly designed tattoos. Ortiz rocks his trademark black and flame shorts and bleached blond hair, while Arlovski wears his fanged mouth guard.
No detail is overlooked when it comes to Round 5’s figurines.
Round 5 collectible figurines are available at many retailers across North America and online at www.Round5MMA.com
