After nearly 10 months away, the Bella Twins returned to WWE television this week. And per a recent report, they may not be the only former Divas set to return.

In this week's (subscribers-only) Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE is seeking to bring back ex-Divas to fill up the gaps in its women's division, with Kelly Kelly (AKA Barbara Blank) and Maryse Ouellet already being contacted.

Discussing what led to the Bella Twins' re-signing, Meltzer writes:

The company felt it was low on women talent and also didn’t feel the women in developmental were ready, so they made offers to bring back The Bellas, Kelly Kelly, 26, and Maryse, 30, who just got engaged to Miz. Those are the names we know of for sure were contacted and are still in play. There may be others we don’t know about, such as Beth Phoenix, although I don’t know for sure in her case. Kelly and Maryse declined the initial offers but in the end it’s really up to the amount offered as I believe talks are still open at this point with both of them, just terms haven’t been reached.

Kelly parted ways with WWE in September of last year. Per a report (from F4Wonline via WrestlingInc), the Maxim cover girl wanted to pursue a career in the mainstream free of the limits of WWE interference.

Additionally, some of the outside modelling projects that she started while she was still under contract were considered too "risque" for such a PG company, which led to problems between her and WWE officials. Per this report, she was also battling a neck injury, which no doubt exacerbated her eagerness to leave.

In her time away, she has continued to pursue modelling and acting opportunities under her real name and recently made an appearance on MTV2's Guy Code

Maryse, who left WWE in October 2011, has mainly stuck to getting her clothing and jewelery business "House of Maryse" off the ground (the line was officially launched last November). The Canadian star has also made sporadic appearances for indie group FWE Wrestling, serving as an announcer.

So, both have kept themselves busy and seem content in their post-WWE lives. But can they be persuaded by the company to return?
