Match No. 1

TNA X-Division Championship

Evan Bourne vs. Christopher Daniels

In the opening contest, "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels gets another shot to become X-Division Champion once again. Bourne and Daniels start the match very elementary but soon turns the match into a classic cruiserweight, X-Division match up. After getting the upper hand, Daniels tries to hit the Death Valley Driver to Bourne early in the match but Bourne counters the Driver and tosses Daniels over the top rope and onto the outside.

With Daniels on the outside, Bourne whips off the ropes and flips over the top rope and onto Daniels on the floor taking Daniels out. The fans begin to chant "THIS IS AWESOME" after seeing that dive by Bourne. Bourne then picks up Daniels and rolls him back into the ring. Bourne goes for the cover but Daniels kicks out. Bourne begins stay in-control of the match for the nest couple of minutes. After backdropping Daniels, Bourne sets Daniels up in position and then proceeds to climb the top rope to deliver his Shooting Star Press. When Bourne tries to hit the Star Press, Daniels gets his knees up and Bourne crashes abdominal first into the knees of Daniels.

Bourne is now in agonising pain and holding his ribs after taking that knees first shot from Daniels. Daniels now begins to work on the injured ribs of Bourne even applying a body scissors to Bourne but somehow Bourne makes it to the ropes. Daniels then whips Bourne off the ring ropes but Bourne reverses and whips Daniels off the ropes. When Bourne tries to hit a clothesline to Daniels, Daniels ducks the clothesline and flap jacks Bourne onto the top ring rope. Further damaging the injured ribs of Bourne. Bourne then falls off the top rope and onto the outside.

With Bourne on the outside, Daniels moves to the ring apron and when Bourne stands up Daniels leaps onto Bourne and hits a hurricanrana to Bounre on the outside floor. Daniels the rolls Bourne back into he ring and then climbs tot he top rope. When Bourne stands up, Daniels tries to hit s cross body from the top rope but somehow Bourne counters and hits a dropkick to Daniels in mid-air. Bourne crawls tot he cover but Daniels kicks out.

Bourne and Daniels now begin to slug it out. When Bourne gets the advantage with the right hands, Daniels counters by kicking the injured ribs of Bounre and then hits the Death Valley Driver onto Bourne. Daniels goes for the pin but Bourne somehow gets a shoulder up. With Bourne still out on the canvas, Daniels goes up top to hit the BME.

Surprisingly, Daniels is able to hit the best Moonsault ever but when Daniels attempts the pin Bourne gets a foot on the rope. Daniels then drags Bourne the center of the ring to attempt another pin but Bourne is able to kick out this time. Daniels then picks up Bourne and places Bourne on the top turnbuckle. When Daniels tries to hit a superplex to Bourne, Bourne counters and shoves Daniels off the top turnbuckle. With Daniels out on the ring canvas, Bourne attempts another Shooting Star Press but Daniels rolls out of the way and Bourne crashes ribs first into the mat. With Bounre laying stomach first holding his ribs after missing the Star press, Daniels goes back up to the top rope and scores with the BME to the back of Bourne. Daniels rolls Bourne over for the pin and Daniels becomes the new X-Division Champion.

 

Match No. 2

Samoa Joe vs. Edge with Mick Foley as the Special Enforcer

After Edge screwed Samoa Joe in retaining the IC Title last month, Joe gets revenge here with Mick Foley as the special enforcer to enable other superstars from interfering in the match. Joe starts the match very aggressively with punches, chops, and quick kicks to Edge in the corner. After a few kicks and chops, Joe whips Edge from one corner to the opposite corner of the ring followed by a running high knee shot to the chin of Edge. Joe then tries to get an early win after lifting up Edge on the top turnbuckle to deliver the Muscle Buster. But Edge fights off Joe and then scores with a missile drop kick to Joe from the top rope. Edge goes for a cover but Joe kicks out very powerfully after a one count.

Edge then picks up Joe but Joe fights Edge off with chops and jab punches to Edge. Joe then whips Edge off the ropes and hits a hard blowing knee strike to the mid-section of Edge. Joe goes for the pin but Edge kicks out. Joe then applies a head lock and body scissors onto Edge. After a couple of seconds in the head lock & scissors, Edge is able to get his legs to the bottom rope. When Edge stands up, Joe gets a head of steam and clothesline Edge over the top rope and onto the outside. With Edge on the outside, Joe whips off the ropes and hits a suicide dive through the ropes onto Edge.

Joe then picks up Edge and slams Edge's head four violent times into the announcer table followed by a hard violent shot into the steel ring steels by Joe to Edge. Joe then goes over the ring bell table to grab a steel chair but before he can hit Edge with it, Mick Foley grabs the chair away from Joe and tells Joe he can not use the steel chair or he will be Disqualified. With Joe distracted by Mick, Edge re-groups himself and when Joe turns around Edge spears Joe on the floor. Edge then rolls Joe back into the ring followed by stern words with Mick.

Edge gets back into the ring and attempts a cover on Joe but Joe kicks out. Edge then begins to hammer Joe by stomping on Joe. Edge then begins to punch Joe into the corner. Edge then steps back a couple of steps and then hits a hard shoulder tackle to Joe in the corner. Edge goes a pin but Joe kicks out. Edge then goes up to the second to splash Joe but when Edge leaps off, Joe catches Edge in mid-air and hits a powerslam on Edge. With Edge laying on the mat, Joe jumps up and hits a knee shot the the chest of Edge. Joe goes for the cover but Edge kicks out.

Joe then tries to pick up Edge but Joe counters with a rake to the eyes of Joe and with Joe blinded, Edge tries to hit the spear to Joe but Joe side steps Edge and Edge hits the second turnbuckle. Joe then follows up with a German suplex followed by a pin cover but Edge kicks out. Joe then fights Edge into the corner. After fighting Edge into the corner, Joe props Edge on the top turnbuckle and hits a Muscle Buster to Edge. Joe goes for the pin but Edge gets a shoulder up.

Joe all raged now, goes outside and grabs another steel chair. But as Foley tries to stop Joe, Joe hits Foley with the steel chair to the temple of Foley and just taking Foley out. Joe then brings the chair into the ring and when he tries to hit Edge with the steel chair but Edge ducks and Joe hits the referee with the steel chair knocking him out. Edge however whips off the ropes and after when Joe hits the ref with the steel chair, Edge scores with a spear to Joe but there is nobody to count the shoulders of Joe. Edge however grabs the chair and with Foley knocked out, Christian comes down to the ring with a steel chair as well.

When Joe gets up, Edge and Christian hits a con-chair-to to Joe. Christian then goes outside to pick up the referee to count the shoulders of Joe. As the ref wakes up, Edge attempts to pin Joe but Joe some hows gets a shoulder up after taking a con-chair-to. Edge then pleads to the ref that Joe was pinned. When Edge turns around, Joe gets up and hits a spear of his own to Edge. But Christian gets up onto the apron to distract the ref from counting the shoulders o Edge. Mick finally comes awake and he gets onto the ring apron as well to pull Christian down. As Joe is distracted, Edge tries to hit another spear to Joe but Joe moves out of the way and Edge spears Foley off the apron. Joe then gets behind Edge and locks in the Kokita Clutch. After a couple of seconds in the Clutch, Edge taps out.

When Joe walks off, Edge and Christian grabs Foley and hits him into the ring. Christian and Edge grabs a pair of steel chairs and when Foley stands up, Edge and Christian hits a con-chair-to to Foley.

 

Match No. 3

No Disqualification Match for the World Tag Team Championship

Hardy Boyz vs. Latin American Xchange

Before the match started, Jeff and Matt offered this match to be No DQ and LAX accepted. Homicide & Jeff starts the match for their teams and they begin the match with a series of chain wrestling. Homicide soon gets the upper hand and begin to hammer Jeff in the corner. Homicide then whips Jeff into the opposite corner but Jeff counters and hits the Whisper in the Wind to Homicide. Jeff goes for the pin but Homicide kicks out. Jeff then tags in Matt.

Matt and Jeff then performs that classic Hardy double team offense on Homicide that includes Matt knelling and Jeff running and using Matt to jump and hit that jumping leg drop to Homicide in the corner. Matt then tries to hit the Side Effect to Homicide but Homicide counters and hits the Gringo Cutter out of nowhere. Homicide goes for the cover but Matt kicks out. Homicide then throws Matt over the top rope and onto the outside. Homicide then tags in Hernandez.

After tagging in Hernandez, Homicide whips off the ropes and hits a corkscrew dives to Matt on the outside. Hernandez then follows and when Matt stands up, Hernandez hits a huge over the top splash on Matt. Meanwhile after Hernandez hits that splash, Jeff Hardy climbs the top rope and cross bodies Hernandez and Homicide from the top rope and onto the outside. While Matt has Homicide, Jeff whips Hernandez into the barricade wall and then sets the steel steps in position. With the steps in position, Jeff steps back a few feet and then runs towards the steel steps and with the help of the steel steps Jeff hits a jumping leg drop to Hernandez who was leaned up against the barricade wall.

Meanwhile, Matt brings out a table from under the ring and rams it into the head of Homicide then sets it up on the outside. Matt then grabs Homicide and moves up to the apron of the ring. Matt then, with the table set up, scores with the Side Effect to Homicide through the table off the ring apron. On the other side of the ring, Jeff Hardy brings out a trash can and hits Hernandez three times with it to the skull. Matt and Jeff then slides back into the ring. With Homicide still out in the broken pieces of the table, Matt knells and Jeff whips off the ropes and with help from Matt, Jeff jumps over the top rope to cross body Hernandez but Hernandez catches Jeff and rams Jeff's back and kidneys first into the steel ring post. Hernandez then brings out a kendo stick and hits the crap of Matt with with it.

Hernandez then slides back into the ring and hits Matt with the kendo stick four more times into Matt's back. Hernandez then goes back outside and brings out two tables from under the ring. After setting up one table on the outside, Hernandez tries to set of the other but Jeff stops Hernandez by hitting Hernandez with a steel chair. Meanwhile, Homicide comes back into the ring but not alone. Homicide brings in with him a 16 foot ladder. Homicide comes in and smashes Matt with it.

After hitting Hernandez with a chair, Jeff comes back into the ring and drop kicks the ladder back into the face of Homicide. Jeff then hits the Twist of Fate to Homicide. After hitting the Twist of Fate, Jeff places the ladder up. With Homicide on the mat, Jeff climbs the 16 foot to hit the swanton bomb but as Jeff leaps off the ladder to hit the swanton to Homicide, Homicide rolls out of the way and Jeff lands back first onto the ring mat from the top of the ladder.

Homicide rolls outside and stacks the second table on the first table. Hernandez gets back into the ring and picks up Jeff Hardy. Hernandez lifts up Jeff and Border Tosses Jeff over the top rope and through the two stacks tables! The fans begin to chant "HOLY SH*T" over and over. As Hernandez turns around, Matt hits a Twist of Fate to Hernandez. Matt goes for the pin but Homicide interrupts the count. As Matt tries to hit a Twist of Fate Homicide, Hernandez comes in from behind and hits Matt in the back. Homicide then hits the Gringo Killer to Matt and gets the pin to retain the World Tag Team Titles.

 

Match No. 4

Ladder Match for the United States Championship

"Black Machismo" Jay Lethal vs. "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin

Shelton and Lethal starts the match very elementary before bringing in the ladders. They start the match with chain wrestling including arm drags with a variation of exchanges. For the next couple of minutes, Benjamin and Lethal has a very back and forth match up with both men not able to get the upper hand on one another. After the series of exchanges, Lethal whips Benjamin off the ropes and backdrops Benjamin to mat. Lethal then goes up top to the top rope to deliver a double axe handle but when Lethal leaps down, Benjamin catches Lethal and hits T-Bone Suplex to Lethal. Shelton then goes outside to attempt to bring in a ladder.

As Benjamin picks up the ladder, Lethal gets up and catapults himself over the top rope and crashes into the ladder and Benjamin at the same time. Lethal hurt but gets up and whips Benjamin into the barricade wall. With Benjamin leaned up the barricade wall, Lethal grabs the ladder and leans it up against Benjamin. With the ladder leaned up against Benjamin, Lethal gets on top of the ring apron and with the ladder leaned up against Benjamin, Lethal jumps off the ring apron and drop kicks the ladder into the body and face of Benjamin. With Benjamin laid out, Lethal grabs the ladder and slides the ladder into the ring.

As Lethal sets up and climbs the ladder, Benjamin gets back up and spring boards onto the ladder with help of the top ring rope. Lethal and Benjamin begin trade punches on the top of the ladder. When Benjamin blocks the punches on Lethal, he slams Lethal's head onto the top of the ladder followed by a sunset flip to Lethal off the ladder. The fans begin to chant "THIS IS AWESOME" after the flip. Benjamin then grabs Lethal and hammers Lethal into the corner. Benjamin grabs the ladder and leans it up against Lethal in the corner. Benjamin then steps back and when he gets far enough, Benjamin runs and hits a Stinger Splashes the ladder into Lethal in the corner.

Benjamin then sets the ladder up and begins to climb up it. Before Benjamin can reach the title, Lethal gets up and yanks Benjamin off the ladder then slams Benjamin's head into the ladder. Lethal then grabs the ladder and places it flat on the the ring mat. Lethal then scoop slams Benjamin onto the ladder then proceeds to go up top to drop a elbow to Benjamin on the ladder. With Benjamin on the ladder, Lethal jumps off the top rope but Benjamin moves out of the way and Lethal lands elbow and back first on the steel ladder. With Lethal still lying on the ladder, Benjamin whips off the ropes and hits a stand splash to Lethal who is on the ladder. After splashing Lethal on the ladder, Benjamin goes outside and brings in two steel chairs.

Benjamin then sets up the steel chairs and places the ladder flat on the steel chairs. Benjamin then picks up Lethal and snap suplexes Lethal onto the ladder. With Lethal lying on the ladder, Benjamin goes to the top rope and hits a top rope splash to Lethal on the ladder set up on the two chairs. Both men are now just laying in the middle of the ring just wore the slap out. After a minute or so laying in the ring, both Lethal and Benjamin makes it to their feet. Benjamin begin to punch followed by a PayDirt to Lethal. After hitting th PayDirt, Benjamin begin to punch Lethal against the ring ropes. With Lethal leaned up on the ring ropes, Benjamin gets a head of steam and dashes towards Lethal but Lethal counters and backdrops Benjamin over the top rope but Benjamin lands on the apron.

Benjamin, while on the apron, hip tosses Lethal over the top rope and onto the floor. Benjamin the leaps off the apron but Lethal catches Benjamin and drops Benjamin on the steel barricade wall. With Benjamin leaned over the barricade wall, Lethal goes tot he top rope and lands a elbow drop to the back of Benjamin while leaned over the barricade wall. Lethal then picks up Benjamin and tosses him in the ring. Lethal then goes up top and drops another elbow drop to Benjamin but this time to the sternum of Benjamin.

After hitting the elbow drop, Lethal sets up the ladder. Lethal however realizes that Benjamin is still out and doesn't go for the title right away. Instead Lethal climbs the ladder and hits a third elbow drop to Benjamin off the top of the ladder. After hitting the elbow drop off the ladder, Lethal begins to climb the ladder now to grab the title. As Lethal is inches to the title, Benjamin gets up and begins to climb the ladder. Both men are now trading punches once again on the top of the ladder. When Lethal goes for a big right on top of the ladder, Benjamin counters Lethal and hits a T-Bone Suplex to Lethal off the top of the ladder! The fans begin to chant "THIS IS AWESOME" again.

Benjamin finally gets to his feet after hitting the T-Bone and begins to climb the ladder again. While having Benjamin's finger tips touching the gold, Lethal gets up and pushes over the ladder and Benjamin whip lashes off the top rope. Lethal then grabs the ladder and begins to climb it. Benjamin however, gets up and begins to climb the ladder as well. Both men again begin to trade punches on the top of the ladder. Lethal begins to get the upper hand and when he grabs Benjamin, Benjamin counters Lethal and back drops Lethal off the top of the ladder and onto the mat. Benjamin is able to keep his balance and stay on the ladder. Benjamin, after backdropping Lethal, unstraps the U.S. Title and remains the United States Champion.

 

Match No. 5

Eight Man Elimination Tag Team Match

Jeff Jarrett, Rhino, Abyss, & Petey Williams vs. Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Batista, & Rey Mysterio

Mysterio and Williams start this eight man tag. Mysterio and Williams but on a back and forth contest with Rey bringing the lucha libre offense of his. After getting the advantage, Rey drop kicks Petey onto the second rope for the 619. As Rey tries to hit the 619 Petey ducks and when Rey turns around, Petey kicks Mysterio in the gut and hits the Canadian Destroyer on Rey. Petey goes for the pin but Rey kicks out. Petey tries to hit another Canadian Destroyer on Rey but Rey counters and back drops Petey over the top rope and onto the floor. With Petey on the outside, Rey whips off the ropes and hits a front flip dive over the top rope and onto Petey on the outside. With Petey out, Rey hops onto the ring apron and as Petey stands up Rey leaps onto Petey to hit a huricanrana but Petey catches Rey and powerbombs Rey on the floor. Petey then grabs Rey and tosses Rey back into the ring. Petey then tags in Jarrett back in the ring.

Jarrett now begins to wear down Mysterio with a sleeper hold. With the crowd chanting "LETS GO REY," Rey fights off Jarrett and when Rey whips off the ropes Jarrett knocks Rey back down with a big boot. Jarrett then tries to apply the figure four leg lock on Mysterio but Rey counters and rolls up Jarrett for a pin but Jarrett kicks out. When Jarrett gets up, he dashes towards Rey but Rey counters Jarrett and drop toe holds Jarrett onto the second rope for the 619. Rey hits the 619 to Jarrett but as Rey leaps off the top rope to deliver a splash, Rhino, unexpectedly, comes in and Gores Rey out of mid-air. As Rhino rolls out of the ring, Jarrett gets the pin on Rey and Rey becomes the first man eliminated.

After the elimination of Rey, Batista comes in and begins to hammer on Jarrett in the corner. Batista then hard Irish whips Jarrett into the opposite corner followed by a big running clothesline into the corner on Jarrett. With Jarrett senseless, Batista kicks Jarrett in the gut to deliver a Batista Bomb. However, Jarrett counters the Batista Bomb by back dropping Batista and Jarrett then tags in Rhino. Rhino comes in a tries to Gore Batista right out of the gate. But as Rhino tries to hit the Gore, Batista counters Rhino and counters the Gore into a powerslam. Batista goes for the pin but Rhino kicks out. As Rhino stands up, Batista clothesline Rhino over the top rope. Batista follows and rams Rhino's back into the edge of the ring.

After ramming Rhino's back in the edge of the ring, Batista tries to whip Rhino in the steel steps but Rhino reverses and whips Batista into the steel ring steps. Rhino then looks under a ring and brings in a table. Rhino slides the table in the ring and sets the table up in the corner of the ring. Rhino goes outside and brings Batista back into the ring and places Batista against the table. As Rhino tries to Gore Batista through the table, Batisa moves out the way and Rhino crashes through the table. Batista then picks up Rhino and hits the Batista Bomb on Rhino for the elimination.

After eliminating Rhino, Batista now faces the "Monster" Abyss. Batista and Abyss begin to slug it out after a while, Batista gets the upper hand and whips Abyss but Abyss reverses and counters Batista and hits the Black Hole Slam. Abyss goes for the cover but Batista kicks out. Abyss then lifts up Batista to deliver the Shock Treatment but Batista wiggles off the shoulders on Abyss and hits a spine buster to Abyss. Batista goes for the cover but Abyss kicks out. Batista then tags in Shawn Michaels.

Michaels begins to to work on the legs of Abyss for a good while. After a while of working on the leg of Abyss, HBK locks in an inverted figure four leg lock. AFter 26 seconds in the leg lock, Abyss makes it to the ropes. When Abyss stands up, HBK runs towards to Abyss but Abyss catches Abyss and locks in a bear hug onto HBK. HBK soon fights out of the bear hug and when HBK whips off the ropes, Abyss catches the throat of HBK to deliver a chokeslam but HBK counters out of the chokeslam and locks on the crossface to Abyss. After scratching a crawling, Abyss finally makes it to the bottom rope but HBK doesn't release the hold. Abyss then stands up and slams HBk to the mat. Abyss then tags back in Petey.

Petey stays in-control of HBK for a little while. After whipping HBK off the ropes, Petey gets a forearm smash by HBK followed by a nip up by the Showstopper. Shawn then scoop slams Petey and goes up top. Shawn scores with his elbow drop and proceeds to warm up Sweet Chin Music. When Petey stands up to his feet, Shawn tries to kick Petey but Petey ducks the kick and when Shawn turns around, Petey tries to hit the Canadian Destroyer to Shawn but Shawn back drops Petey and when Petey gets up HBK hits Sweet Chin Music to Petey to eliminate him. The match is now down to HBK, Batista, & Cena facing Jarrett and Abyss.

After the elimination of Petey, Jarrett comes into the match once again. HBK stares down Jarrett but before anything can happen, Cena tells HBk to tag him into the match and HBK does. The crowd begins to chant "LETS GO CENA" "LETS GO JARRETT" as Cena and Jarrett lock it up. Cena gets the upper hand with the side head lock but Jarrett shoves Cena into the rope but Cena whips off the ropes and hits two shoulder tackles to Jarrett. Cena goes for the pin but Jarrett kicks out. Cena then lifts up Jarrett for the F-U but Jarrett counters out of it and hits a side Russian leg sweep to Cena. Jarrett attempts a pin but Cena powers out. Jarrett then picks up Cena but Cena fights off Jarrett with shots to Jarretts abdomen followed shots to Jarrett's face. Cena then gets a side belly to belly suplex to Jarrett. Cena attempts the pin but Jarrett gets a shoulder up. Cena then tags in Batista.

Batista now begins to dominate Jarrett for a while. Whne Batista tries to put away Jarrett with the Batista Bomb, RHino comes down to the ring and distracts the ref and Batista. When the ref is distracted by Rhino, Abyss slides in a steel chair to Jarrett. Jarrett then hits a low blow to Batista followed by the Stroke to Batista on the steel chair and then slides the chair out of the ring. Jarrett goes for the pin and when the ref turns around, he counts the three and Batista gets eliminated.

Cena then comes in and goes straight to Abyss and knocks him down to the outside. While HBK and Jarrett fights in the ring, Cena and Abyss brawl it out on the outside. After taking down Abyss, Cena begins to clear off an announce table. Cena then picks up Abyss and as he tries to F-U Abyss through the announce table, Abyss counters out and shoves Cena into the steel ring post. Abyss then clears off another announce table. Abyss then grabs Cena and tosses him onto a cleared off announce table. Abyss climbs on top as well. Abyss grabs the throat the Cena to chokeslam him through the announce table but Cena counters the chokeslam and F-U's Abyss from one announce table through another.

HBK and Jarrett continues to fight inside the ring. Out of nowhere, Jarrett hits the Stroke on HBK but after a pin attempt, HBK kicks out. Jarrett then locks in the figure four leg lock to HBK. After 43 seconds in the figure four, HBK makes it to the bottom rope. When both gets up, Jarrett dashes towards HBK, HBK out of nowhere hits Sweet Chin Music to Jarrett. HBK gets a arm over Jarrett for a cover attempt but Jarrett kicks out. Both men now crawls to their tag partners, and both makes the tag. Cena enters the match very fierce and sprint towards Abyss but just like that, Abyss stops Cena in his his tracks and scores with a Black Hole Slam on Cena. Abyss gets the pin and eliminates Cena. After the elimination, Abyss goes over and drags in HBK. Abyss lifts up HBK for the Shock Treatment but Michaels counters out and rolls up Abyss and gets the pin for the elimination on Abyss. The match is now down to HBK and the King of the Mountain.

So far the match has gone 37 minutes and 16 seconds. Both HBK and Jarrett begin to slug it out for a while. After attempting another Stroke to HBK, HBK counter Jarrett and hits a DDT to Jarrett. Shawn goes for the pin but Jarrett kicks out. Shawn then scoop slams Jarrett and goes up top. Shawn hits the elbow drop to Jarrett and goes into the corner to warm up Sweet Chin Music. As HBK tries to superkick Jarrett, Jarrett blocks the kick and attempts the figure four leg lock. But HBK counters Jarrett and rolls up Jarrett in a small cradle for the pin but Jarrett kicks out. When both gets up, HBK tries to hit Sweet Chin Music again to Jarrett but Jarrett blocks the kick and gets behind Michaels. Jarrett hits the Stroke to HBK, gets the pin, and the final elimination to win the match. After the elimination, Jarrett grabs his signature guitar and when HBK stands to his feet, Jarrett smashes the guitar into pieces over HBK's head.

 

Match No. 6

Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker

After Angle lost the triple threat match last month and lost the TNA title for Undertaker, Undertaker was looking retribution at Kurt Angle's expense. Angle enters the match first an awaits the Undertaker. After seeing the ere and disturbing entrance of the Deadman, Undertaker locks his eyes on the Olympic Gold Medalist. After staring at each other for a little while, Undertaker and Angle finally lock things up. Angle gets behind Undertaker for the take down but Undertaker counters Angle and applies a side head lock on Angle.

While in the headlock, Angle reaches for the ankle of Undertaker but 'Taker stops Angle. Both men then gets up and Undertaker grabs the throat of Angle and throws Angle into the corner. Undertaker begin to throw the big blows to Angle followed by a hard irish whip to Angle into the opposite corner. Undertaker runs and hits a hard running clothesline to Angle in the corner. Undertaker then kick the gut of Angle and tries to hit the Last Ride to Angle in the early going. But Angle drops Undertaker and catapults the Deadman into the corner followed by three thundering German suplexes. After the German suplexes, Angle goes for the cover but Undertaker kicks out.

Angle then sets up Undertaker and hits a hard forearm upper cut on Undertaker. Angle then whips the Undertaker off the ropes and hits a over head belly to belly suplex. Angle goes for the pin but 'Taker kicks out. Angle then grabs Undertaker and places him on the top turnbuckle. As Angle tries to suplex 'Taker from the top rope, Undertaker shoves Angle off the turnbuckle and hits a flying clothesline from the top rope to Angle. Undertaker then gets up and drops a leg drop to Angle. Undertaker goes for the cover but Angle gets a shoulder up. Undertaker then grabs the arm of Angle and begins to wrench on it. While holding the arm, Undertaker walks the top rope and delivers Old School to Angle. Undertaker then lifts up Angle and hits snake eyes to Angle on the top turnbuckle followed by a big boot to the face of Angle. Undertaker attempts the pin but Angle kicks out.

When Angle stands up, Undertaker runs and tries to hit another big boot to Angle but Angle ducks the boot and Undertaker straddles the top rope. Angle then gets up and clothesline Undertaker to the outside. As the Undertaker gets up, Angle whips off the ropes and baseball slides the Phenom. Angle then goes outside and slams Undertaker's head into the steel ring steps. When Angle tries to slams Undertaker's head again, Undertaker blocks and slams Angle's head into the steel ring steps. Undertaker then lifts up Angle and slams Angle chest first onto the announce table. Undertaker slides in and breaks the ref's 10 count. When Undertaker goes back outside, Angle kicks Undertaker and whips Undertaker knees first into the steel ring steps.

Angle goes over, lifts up 'Taker, and drops 'Taker's knee into the steel ring steps. Angle then tosses Undertaker back into the ring. Angle goes for the cover but Undertaker kicks out. Angle then begins to punish the knee of 'Taker more with kicks and knee smashes. Angle then goes outside while dragging the leg and slams Undertaker's leg on the edge of the ring two vicious times. Angle goes back into the ring and applies a single leg Boston crab to the Undertaker. While in pain, Undertaker barely makes it to the rope. Undertaker gets up but still hurt and limping. Angle runs towards Undertaker but Undertaker grabs Angle by the throat and chokeslams Angle. Undertaker goes for the cover but Angle gets a shoulder up. Undertaker then grabs Angle and throws him over the top rope. With Angle on the outside, Undertaker whips off the runs and barely dives over the top rope and crashes Angle on the outside. After diving onto Angle, Undertaker picks up Angle and places him on the ring apron.

As Undertaker tries to hit the leg drop to Angle on the edge of the ring, Angle catches the leg of the Undertaker, pulls the Undertaker back into the ring, and locks on the Ankle Lock to the Deadman. After 58 seconds in the Ankle Lock, Undertaker finally makes it to the bottom rope. When Undertaker stands up, Angle hits an Olympic Slam to the Undertaker. Angle attempts the pin but surprisingly Undertaker gets a shoulder up. Angle gets up all raged and takes down his wrestling straps and heads up to the top rope. As Angle tries to hit the moonsault, Undertaker rolls out of the way. And when Angle gets up, Undertaker kicks the gut of Angle and scores with the Last Ride to Angle. Undertaker goes for the cover but Angle surprisingly as well gets a shoulder up.

Undertaker then gets up and cuts his throat signally for the Tombstone. As Angle stands up, Undertaker lifts up Angle for the Tombstone but Angle wiggles out and tries to hit another Olympic Slam but Undertaker counters the slam and hits a second chokeslam to Kurt Angle. Undertaker goes for a pin but Angle kicks out. As Undertaker picks up Angle, Angle fights off Undertaker with hard right fists followed by a strong forearm upper cut. After upper cutting 'Taker, Angle hits another over head belly to belly suplex to the Undertaker. Angle attempts another pin but Undertaker kicks out. Angle then goes up top to deliver another moonsault. But when Kurt goes for the moonsault, Undertaker catches Angle in the Tombstone position and hits the Tombstone to Angle. Undertaker attempts the pin but Angle gets a foot on the rope. Undertaker gain lifts up Angle for another Tombstone but Angle wiggles out, rolls up Undertaker, and while grabbing the tights Angle gets the victory over the Undertaker.

After getting the cheap pinfall, Angle runs out of the ring and runs up the ramp way. Undertaker then sits up and stares up at Angle. Undertaker then points to Angle and cuts his throat while rolling his eyes back clarifying the end is near for Angle.

 

Match No. 7

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship

Triple H vs. Sting

After viewing the video promo for the upcoming Last Man Standing WWE Title Match, Todd Grisham interviews the reigning WWE Champion Triple H on his title defense just moments away. Todd asks Triple H, "What is your strategy for the upcoming Last Man Standing Match?" Triple H responds by saying, "Todd this is a dangerous business and if you don't plan on getting hurt then you do not belong here. My strategy for the match is this, I'm prepared to get hurt but is Sting prepared?" Triple H then walks off with sledgehammer in hand and WWE Title belt over his shoulder.

Justin Roberts is the the ring announcer for this match. Roberts announces, "The following match is a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship." Sting's TNA music starts. Roberts now announces the challenger, "From Venice Beach, California, weighing in at 255 pounds, he is The Icon, Sting." Sting makes his entrance while coming out with his signature black baseball bat.

After a few seconds of silence and while Sting wait for the champion, Triple H's music starts, "Time To Play The Game." Roberts now introduces the WWE champion, "introducing now from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing in at 265 pounds, he is the WWE Championship, The Game, Triple H." After both men made their entrances and with Triple H holding his sledgehammer and Sting holding his black baseball bat, Triple H and Sting begin to stare down each other from opposite corners of the ring.

When the bell rings, Triple H runs towards Sting to hit him with the sledgehammer but Sting ducks the sledgehammer and hits HHH in the gut with baseball bat followed by a shot to Triple H's back with the bat. With Triple H down, Sting tries to choke out HHH with the bat but Triple H fights Sting off with right hands to the face of Sting. Triple H fights Sting into the ring ropes, then whips Sting off the ropes followed by a Harely Race, high knee from Triple H to Sting. Triple H then hits a Ric Flair running knee drop to Sting. When Sting stands to his feet, Triple H runs and clothesline Sting over the top rope to the outside.

On the outside, Triple H hops down from the apron but Sting punches Triple H in his gut and whips Triple H into the barricade wall. With Triple H leaned up against the barricade all, Sting tries to hit a Stinger Splash to Triple H but Triple H moves out of the way and String crashes into the barricade wall. Triple H then throws Sting over the barricade wall and into the crowd. Triple H follows and begins to fight Sting in the crowd. Once they make their way back to the barricade wall, Triple H tries to go for the Pedigree on Sting on the concrete floor but Sting counters and back drops Triple H over the barricade wall and back into ringside. When Sting hops over the barricade wall, Triple H gets a chair from under the ring and hits Sting in the mid-section with the steel chair. Triple H then performs a vertical suplex to Sting on the floor. The ref begins the 10 count but Sting gets up at a count of 4. When Sting gets up, Triple H tries to hit another Pedigree but Sting counters HHH and catapults Triple H into the steel ring post. Triple H begins to bleed now.

After catapulting the bloody Game, Sting hard irish whips Triple H into the steel ring steps. Sting then grabs a cable cord and wraps it around Triple H's throat and to choke him out. Afterwards, Sting grabs Triple H and tosses him in the ring. With Triple H bloody, Sting mounts Triple H and begins to hammer on the open wound of Triple H. Sting then lifts up Triple H and begins to punch Triple H more in the corner. Sting then places Triple H on the top turnbuckle and hits a top rope superplex to Triple H. The ref begins a 10 count on HHH but Triple H gets up at a count of 6. Sting goes outside and brings in the steel chair that Triple H introduced earlier. Sting then hits Triple H in the leg with the steel chair. Sting then begins to damage the leg of Triple H some more for a little while. When Triple H gets up and holding his leg, Sting smashes the bloody head of Triple H with the steel chair. The ref begins the 10 count again but Triple H gets up at a 5 count.

When Triple H gets to his feet, Sting tries to lock in the Scorpion Death Lock but Triple H counters and shoves Sting into the ring ropes and then hits a DDT to Sting on the steel chair. Sting then rolls out of the ring after being DDT-ed on the steel chair. Triple H follows and slams Sting's head into the announce tables. After slamming Stings's head 3 to 4 times in the announce table, Triple H looks under the ring and brings out a screw driver. Triple H then stabs the head of Sting and just tearing the skin from Sting's cranium. Sting begins to bleed fluidly now. Triple H then lifts up Sting and crashes Sting chest first onto the announce table. Triple H then puts Sting back into the ring and drags Sting's leg to the ring post. Triple H whips Sting's leg around the steel ring post three times and follows with a figure four leg lock on Sting using the steel ring post. After having the figure four locked on Sting int he ring post for 12 seconds, Triple H releases the hold.

The ref begins the 10 count on Sting but Sting stands to his feet at a 5 count. Triple H then grabs the steel ring steps and tosses them in the ring. With Sting weary and when he turns around, Triple H smashes the bloody head of Sting with a brutal shot from the steel ring steps. The ref begins to count Sting but Sting gets up at a count of 7. When Sting rises to his feet, Triple H grabs his sledgehammer and hits Sting in the head with it. Sting falls the outside after taking the shot of the sledgehammer. Triple H follows the outside and when he tries to pick up Sting, Sting fights off Triple H. After fighting off Triple H, Sting dashes towards Triple H but Triple H counters Sting and spine busters Sting on the floor on the outside. Triple H then begins to clear off an announce table.

Triple H picks up Sting and tosses Sting onto the cleared announce table. On the table, Triple H mounts Sting and throws fury punches to Sting. Triple H then gets up and as he tries to Pedigree Sting through the announce table, Sting counters and hits a low blow on Triple H. Sting then gets behinds and hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Triple H through the announce table. With both men laid out on the broken announce table, the ref begins the double 10 count. Sting gets up at a count of 5 while Triple H barley makes it to his feet at a count of 9. Sting then grabs Triple H and tosses Triple H into the ring.

Sting and Triple H begin to slug it out inside of the ring. Out of nowhere, Triple H kicks Sting in the gut and tries to hit a Pedigree but Sting drops HHH and catapults Triple H into the turnbuckle. Sting then gets up and hits the Stinger Splash to the back of Triple H in the corner. Sting then hits the Scorpion Death Drop onto Triple H after scoring with the Stinger Splash to the back of the Game. The ref starts the 10 count on the Game but Triple H makes it to his feet at a 8 count. When Triple H gets up, Sting whips Triple H off the ropes and as Sting lowers his head to back drop Triple H, Triple H catches Sting and hits a thundering Pedigree on Sting. The ref begins the 10 count but Sting beats the 10 count by getting up at a count of 7. When Sting gets up after the first Pedigree, Triple H comes over and scores with a second Pedigree to Sting. After the start of the 10 count, Sting shockingly makes it to his feet after the second Pedigree at a count of 8.

As Triple H tries to hit a third Pedigree to Sting, Sting counters the Pedigree and locks in the Scorpion Death Lock onto Triple H. With the blood pouring of of his head, Triple H passes out to the Scorpion Death Lock after 62 seconds in it which allows Sting to release the hold. The ref now begins to start the 10 count on Triple H. Somehow though, Triple H is able to make to his feet at a 9 and a half count. After seeing Triple H get to his feet, Sting grabs his black baseball bat and breaks it in half after smashing it on Triple H's skull. Triple H then falls to the ring canvas and just lays there unconsciously in the middle of the ring with the bloody pouring out of his head and staining the ring mat. The ref begins the 10 count and this time Triple H doesn't stand to his feet. Sting wins the match and for the first time becomes the WWE Champion.

After the match, extra referees and medical personnel helps Triple H out of the ring.

 

Match No. 8

TNA Heavyweight Championship

"Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. "Legend Killer" Randy Orton

Randy Orton got this TNA Title opportunity after taking out Team 3D last month. Styles and Orton starts the mach very back and forth by exchanging right hands. AJ starts to get the upper hand but when he whips Orton off the ropes, Orton reverses and strikes AJ with a hard elbow shot to AJ's nose. With AJ laying on the mat, Orton whips off the ropes and hits a forearm smash to AJ. Orton attempts a pin but AJ kicks out. Orton then gets to his feet and drops a jumping knee drop onto the chest of AJ. Orton then applies a head lock onto Styles after dropping that knee drop. After being in the head lock for 61 seconds, AJ finally makes it to the bottom rope.

After releasing the head lock, Orton goes outside and pulls AJ's chest off the edge of the ring. Orton then hits AJ's chest with vowel and vicious forearm shots. Orton then pulls AJ out of the ring a hits a back suplex to AJ on the floor. Orton then picks up AJ off the floor and rams AJ's back into the edge of the ring and then tosses AJ back into the ring. As Orton walks back into the ring, AJ rolls up Orton for a sneaky small cradle but Orton kicks out of the pin attempt. When both men get to their feet, Orton hits AJ with a hard clothesline. After the hard clothesline, Orton picks up AJ and sets him on the top turnbuckle. As Orton tries to superplex AJ of the top rope, AJ counters and shoves Orton off the second rope. AJ then gets up and hits a big cross body to Orton. AJ attempts the pin but Orton kicks out. AJ gets up, lifts up Orton, and suplexes Orton stomach first on the top ring rope. AJ then drop kicks Orton off the apron and Orton falls to the floor.

With Orton on the outside, AJ whips off the ropes and hits a a back flip dive over the top rope and onto Orton. The fans begin to chant "THIS IS AWESOME" after the splendid dive by the "Phenomenal" one. AJ then picks up Orton and hits a standing huricanrana to Orton on the floor. After hitting the huricanrana, AJ throws Orton back into the ring. As AJ walks back into the rope, Orton gets up and kicks AJ in the face. Orton then, with AJ hanging off the second rope, DDT's AJ to the canvas. Orton goes for the pin but AJ gets a shoulder up. After the DDT Orton picks up AJ and hits AJ with a hard upper cut forearm to AJ in the corner of the ring. Orton then whips AJ into the opposite corner and as Orton runs towards AJ, AJ moves out of the way and Orton smashes his shoulder into the steel ring post. AJ then rolls up Orton but Orton kicks out. When both gets up, AJ dashes towards Orton but Orton ducks the clothesline of AJ and hits AJ with his inverted back and neck breaker. Orton attempts the cover but AJ gets a shoulder up.

After hitting the inverted back breaker, Orton gets poised to deliver a RKO. As Orton tries to hit a RKO, AJ counters and shoves Orton into the turnbuckle. When Orton turns around, AJ scores with the Pele Kick to Orton. AJ goes for the pin but Orton kicks out. As AJ tries to pick up Orton, Orton counters and drop kicks AJ over the top rope and onto the outside. Orton goes outside and slams AJ's face into the steel ring post. When Orton steps back, he dashes towards AJ but AJ counter Orton and back drops Orton on the outside to the floor. AJ then grabs Orton and throws him into the ring. AJ then hops onto the apron. As AJ leaps off the top rope to deliver a forearm smash to Orton, Orton nips up and hits a sudden and impactive RKO to AJ out of mid-air. Orton goes for the pin but surprisingly AJ gets a shoulder up. Orton then pleads to the ref that AJ was pinned.

After pleading tot he ref, Orton steps back and wait for AJ to get on his knees to punt his head off. As Orton tries to punt AJ, AJ moves out of the way of the punt and when then grabs Orton and scores with the Styles Clash to Orton. AJ rolls Orton for the pin but Orton surprisingly kicks out as well. When both gets up, AJ tries to hit another Pele Kick to Orton but Orton ducks the kick and when AJ turns around, Orton hits another RKO to AJ. Orton attempts the pin but AJ gets a foot on the rope. Orton can not believe AJ got a foot on the rope so Orton drags AJ more tot he middle of the ring to attempt another pin but AJ kicks out. Orton in disbelief pleads to the ref that AJ was pinned. While Orton is pleading to the ref, AJ crawls towards Orton, rolls Orton up in the school boy, and gets the pin and remains the TNA Heavyweight Champion.

Orton raged that he didn't win, he goes outside and brings in a steel chair. Orton swings the steel chair and smashes AJ's skull with it. Orton then hammers the lifeless body of AJ numerous times. After hitting AJ with the steel chair, Orton sets up the chair in the middle of the ring. Orton then grabs AJ and RKO's AJ onto the steel chair. Orton then grabs the TNA Title belt, raises it while standing over AJ as the PPV goes off the air.
