It's finally here.

Well, almost.

Mike D'Antoni was supposed to make his official coaching debut for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Houston Rockets, but he pushed it back, since he wasn't quite ready.

According to CBSSport.com's Ken Berger, D'Antoni is now "day-to-day" and will see how he feels before the team's game against the Brooklyn Nets Tuesday night.

Regardless of when he ultimately makes his debut, there is no shortage of anticipation behind his return to the sidelines. ESPN UNITE has set the tone for it, and what's to come, with a hysterically captivating Magic Mike movie trailer.

In it, we see how D'Antoni will be called upon to actualize championship dreams in the "land of make-believe," riding the hopes of both Mitch Kupchak and Kobe Bryant in the process.

Can he lead the Lakers toward the very title that has eluded he himself for so long? Can he live up to the lofty expectations that have been set for him after Los Angeles spurned Phil Jackson in favor of him? Can he win the hearts of a fanbase that was chanting another coach's name not too long ago?

And, most importantly, can he help instill an unreal-like reality in a place where the facts of existence are often cast aside in the pursuit of perfection?

Ready yourself for the movie-esque plot that is about to unfold in Tinseltown.

Because it will be hitting televisions, computers, tablets and mobile devices everywhere, without so much as a moment's notice.
