An Open Letter to Jay Cutler from Minnesota Vikings Fans

Dear Mr. Cutler,

We here in Minnesota were outraged to hear of your situation this past weekend in Denver. 

I mean, how could someone go on working for their employer knowing that they can and will be dropped at any time? Our Vikings name has only been included in this because we recognize your talent and your ability to win, and when we heard that Denver planned to throw you out with the garbage, we felt it was our personal responsibility to reach out and catch you...for you, of course.

So here's what were going to do, and it's actually very simple. You are going to continually bash the Broncos organization and voice your distaste for this whole experience, giving Denver no other option but to trade you on the first day of the draft.

That's where we come in, give up the 22nd pick and signing you to a large six-year contract. You will then become a Viking and give us three or four Super Bowl rings.

That's it. Pretty simple, huh? Just think about what it would be like to stand behind a good offensive line with Adrian Peterson behind you at running back and Bernard Berrian out wide. And unlike the Broncos, we have a defense.

Oh yeah, and if you are friends with T.J. Houshmandzadeh, you should give him a call and tell him about our plan.

Well, Mr. Cutler, if there is anything else that we can do to help, please let me know. If you do not respond to this, then I will assume the plan is good. But we do want to make it perfectly clear that when you come to Minnesota, you will be a highly appreciated quarterback who knows that he is not only part of an organization, but also part of a family.

Families just don't give up on each other every time a Cassel comes around.
