WWE News: Shawn Michaels Sidelined; Claims SummerSlam 'Highly Unlikely'

Take this for what you will, as it appears the WWE and Shawn Michaels are doing a hell of a job selling this injury.

In case you missed it, Michaels got slapped into a Kimura lock courtesy of Triple H's opponent Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw.

As expected, both WWE and WWE.com have been playing up the injury of Michaels. However, it now appears HBK himself has hopped on board with the following tweet.

I for one will be floored if Michaels is a no-show for this event. As it now makes more sense than ever for him to make an appearance. Ultimately, Mr. WrestleMania would shock the world by not only showing up—but turning on his fellow D-X mate and giving Lesnar the win.

To me, there is really no other option.

As Lesnar needs to win and Michaels' motive is as simple as calling out his friend for being a coward and not helping him during his time of need.

Keep in mind, I am merely speculating here, but I am 99 percent certain that Michaels will not only appear—but somehow cost  "The Cerebral Assassin" his match.

In the end, we are just days away from seeing what the WWE has in store and how this will play out.
