Along with the latest men's Olympic basketball analysis and NBA free-agency news, it's time to kick off our Season Preview Series for all 30 pro hoops teams.

On this episode of Basketball by Association, NBA Featured Columnist Joel C. Cordes and NBA Assistant Editor Ethan Norof discuss what to expect from the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Bobcats next season.

However, first we'll discuss whether the USA men's basketball team really is the Goliath-like threat they appear to be so far during the 2012 Summer Olympics.

If it's already a foregone conclusion that they will run the table, then who are the true threats for the silver and bronze medals? With France, Argentina, Spain, Brazil and Russia all firmly in the mix, there's a lot of intrigue yet to witness.

On the NBA free-agency front, we'll break down how the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics recently augmented their already-deep benches, while the Los Angeles Lakers may have found the right candidate to back up Kobe Bryant.

We'll then discuss the biggest offseason additions and subtractions for the Bulls and Bobcats, identify the biggest storylines to watch and wonder aloud whether Chicago is still an Eastern elite and if Charlotte can finish higher than last place.

Our Season Preview Series will run all summer, with our next episode breaking down the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Hornets...
