Talk About Uninformed: MLB Network Analysts Clueless

Just thought I'd share this with you guys out there that are without the MLB Network.

Harold Reynolds, Barry Larkin (love you man, but god...), and Al Leiter really are clueless as to what is going on in Major League Baseball.

I tuned in Wednesday night to watch Hot Stove, a staple in my nightly TV regiment nowadays, and what did I find?

Larkin, Reynolds, and Leiter discussing a GM's viewpoint on the Griffey situation.

The way I interpreted their comments, they are trying to put the GM's of Seattle and Atlanta in a bad situation by saying that the two GM's are looking at Ken Griffey Jr. as if he would be a "missing link."

Sorry guys, but signing Griffey is more for nostalgic purposes than anything else.

Larkin made a sad, feeble attempt to do some real analysis by hinting that Jr. should be a stop-gap...for Matt Diaz and Gregor Blanco.

Sorry Barry, that'd be the Braves top hitting prspect Jason Heyward and, if you want to include a CF, Jordan Schafer.

Then, there's the illustrious Harold Reynolds.

What a terrible baseball analyst.

Saying that the Mariners are a more competent franchise than the Braves, and that the Braves and Mariners would try to use him as a everyday guy.

Wow.

I think anyone who has half a brain and follows baseball knows that in Atlanta, Griffey would simply be in a platoon in left with the pretty good Matt Diaz (ahem...older guy for you Larkin).  In Seattle he will split time between DH, LF, and the bench.

Leiter, well...I really don't like him anyway, so I really can't review him fairly.

However, for all of us Braves fans, he said Atlanta or retirement, so maybe he believes what many of us hope: Griffey in red and blue or street clothes (honestly, with all that has transpired within the past, oh, say, 48 hrs., Griffey in a M's uniform would bring many a nasty word to my lips).

Griffey, hear me here, make up your mind soon.

I have a strong feeling that you may, to an extent, "Furcal" us.
