Chelsea have moved a step closer to finalizing a deal with Brazilian sensation Oscar after the midfielder reportedly had a medical at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old arrived at Heathrow Airport in preparation for the upcoming 2012 London Olympic Games and then had his medical ahead of his Chelsea move, before joining his Brazilian teammates according to the Daily Mail.

Brazil sensation Oscar arrived in London for a medical on Tuesday ahead of his £25million move to Chelsea.

The 20-year-old midfielder will join the European champions after the Olympics from Brazilian side Internacional.

Chelsea will give him some time off after the Olympics before slotting him into a free role in Roberto Di Matteo's new system.

Arguably the best talent to come out of Brazilian football in recent years, Oscar has already established himself on the international stage with six full caps and will no doubt be a dominant part of Brazil's attack at the London Olympics.

Chelsea reportedly signed Oscar on a £25 million deal for next season, according to several media outlets, including the Guardian, the Telegraph and Eurosport.

The proven goalscorer is no doubt an excellent signing for Chelsea—their third big-name signing of the summer following the acquisitions of Eden Hazard and Marko Marin from their respective clubs, which takes their total spending well over £60 million for the summer transfer window.

How Oscar will fit in to the Blues' starting lineup still remains to be seen, with the striker able to play anywhere throughout midfield and behind the striker.

His inclusion at Chelsea surely means that the Blues have one of the strongest—if not the strongest—squad in the English Premier League and are a genuine threat in both the domestic and European competitions once again this season.

Remember Oscar's name—you could be hearing it for many years to come.
