Meet the Next Vince Young, Texas Longhorns QB Commit Tyrone Swoopes

Whitewright High School (Whitewright, TX) quarterback Tyrone Swoopes is looking to follow in the steps of former Texas Longhorns signal-caller Vince Young.

Swoopes, like Young, is a big dual-threat quarterback, standing 6’4” and weighing 220 pounds. The 4-star QB threw for 1,394 yards and rushed for 2,267 yards while combing for 44 touchdowns.
