Little League Ump Strikeout Video: Watch Kid Humiliated in Hilarious Fashion

The moment is brief, crazy and a little bit too much, but it's also hilarious which is why I bring it to you here. 

There isn't much to explain here except for one obviously bored umpire, a little kid that can't read a strike zone and a pitcher that is just dealing. 

Well, that is my gross assumption of the situation. 

We came upon this video from the good people over at SportsGrid that question whether this was a mean act taken by one ump on an innocent little kid. 

Little League is a grand time that most of us have had to be subjected to at one point in our lives, either watching or playing. 

There is always one kid in the outfield picking his nose who is far more interested in what his brain feels like than watching the ball off the bat. There is one adult that is living vicariously through his little boy who looks like he is about one strikeout away from losing it. 

There is also a wealth of errors, whiffs and bad baseball being played. So I can see how one ump forced to watch this stuff every week might want to infuse some color into the game.

Consider the chuckles from the peanut gallery in the video and the kid that takes his strikeout like a man and waltzes back to the dugout unaffected. 

Let's stop with the coddling and increase the entertainment value of Little League games. Sure, some kids may be a little put off by the umpire showing them up, but that's what Team Mommies are for.
