Grading 10 WWE Superstars and Their Rumblers Action Figures (Part 2)

Luis CamposJun 7, 2018

It has been awhile since I have played with WWE action figures. Not because I am mature or too old or anything like that. I am a poor college student, and the small amount of money I have is spent on other stuff.

Besides, the only people I know with WWE action figures are my 10-year-old cousins (and they never want to share). But the other day, I did notice that they had these cool, I mean totally lame, baby toys called WWE Rumblers. I decided to go on-line to check them out, and while I found out that they were totally out of my price range, I also found that some were cooler than others.

In the interest of saving the time and money of my fellow pro wrestling fans, I will be grading each Rumblers action figure based on three criteria.

1. Likeness (how much the figure resembles the actual WWE superstar).

2. Playability (how likely it is that a child will play with this figure).

3. Coolness (how cool the figure looks regardless of other factors).

Purchase at your own risk!

Check out part one

John Morrison

1 of 10

I know that during his tenure with the WWE, John Morrison was very popular with the kids, but this John Morrison Rumblers figures is lame. I am not sure if the "Rock Star Jesus" look is what the kids are into these days.

Mark Henry

2 of 10

I am a little conflicted about this about Mark Henry action figure. Yes, it looks kind of cool, and yes, it looks like Mark Henry, but his pose is very limited. As a kid, the best part of having wrestling action figures was recreating matches, but the barbell in Henry's hands really limits this. Plus, why does he get a prop and other figures don't?

Daniel Bryan

3 of 10

I like Daniel Bryan, but his Rumblers figure is weird. Everything from his little beady to his weird half-smile screams heroin junky/Starbucks barista. Pass.

The Big Show

4 of 10

As far as Rumblers figures go, the Big Show's figure is one of the more solid figures on the toy's line. The figure not only looks like the Big Show, but the toy's maker have him setting up his famous move, the choke slam. A good job overall.

Rey Mysterio

5 of 10

You'd think that a Rey Mysterio Rumblers figure would be really cool. As far as people on the WWE roster, few have a distinct and cool cartoony look like Mysterio does that should translate into a sweet action figure, but sadly, no. Not only are Mysterio's hand larger than his head, but his torso looks funky in comparison to his tiny legs. Swing and a miss.

The Rock

6 of 10

As a longtime Rock fan, I have to admit, this figure is awesome, but I must admit that there is a bit of sarcasm that his Rumblers figure has a mic in hand. The Rock doesn't wrestle much these days, and it looks that even his figure is not build for wrestling. Lame.

Great Khali

7 of 10

Is it weird that this Great Khali figure looks a lot more menacing than the actual Great Khali? Much like the Great Khali, there is nothing special about this figure. The figure does look a little like Kevin Nash, so that's sort of a plus. Get it, but only if you like the Great Khali or really need a Kevin Nash figure in your life.

Kane

8 of 10

I get that Kane is supposed to be the embodiment of evil, but was it really necessary to make his action figure like a creepy degenerate? Sure his pose looks cool, but if I was a kid and someone gave me this figure, I'd take it as a sign that that person doesn't like me.

Santino Marella

9 of 10

The mono-brow is a nice add on this figure, but at about 10 bucks a pop, I doubt many kids out there like owning mono-browed action figures. Unless your kid (or you) is a huge Santino fan, I say skip it!

Undertaker

10 of 10

This is how you do a Rumblers figure. Not only are the proportions in this figure right, but this Undertaker figure actually looks freaking sweet. The details on this figure are spot-on, a great buy for any Taker fan.
