Wells Fargo Championship 2012: Leaderboard Updates, Highlights and More
Tiger Woods and more of golf's top players will tee off on Thursday at Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina as they look to earn an important win at the Wells Fargo Championship.
This tournament will be very exciting with players such as Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson and Lee Westwood competing for a piece of the enormous $6.5 million purse.s

23-year-old Rickie Fowler earned his first win on the PGA Tour by beating Rory McIlroy and DA Point in a playoff.
Fowler needed just one playoff hole to secure the win as he hit a beautiful second shot four-feet from the pin and sank the birdie. Both McIlroy and Points had pars.
Points had a chance to win this tournament. All he needed was a par on No. 18, and he came up with a bogey. His loss is Fowler's gain.
This is likely to be the first of many wins for the talented Fowler.

Three rounds are in the books at the Wells Fargo Championship, and Webb Simpson clings to a one-shot lead, at 14-under, over DA Points and Ryan Moore.
It was Rory McIlroy that stole most of the headlines though as he fired a six-under on Saturday to move into fourth place, and just two shots behind Simpson.
