Yankees Sweep Orioles
2 of 7After getting swept by the Tampa Bay Rays, the Yankees will sweep the Baltimore Orioles.
The rough start to the season has made some fans panic a little. The Yankees will quickly allow those fans to relax by sweeping the Orioles.
Nova Throws a Gem
3 of 7Ivan Nova struggled this spring and left many believing he will have a sophomore slump. He will silence the critics in his first start against the Orioles.
Nova will go six innings, giving up one run and six hits.
Teixeira Lays Down a Bunt and Hits a Couple of Home Runs Against Orioles
4 of 7Mark Teixeira has not started how he wanted to. He had a couple of hits taken away because of the Rays shift.
Seeing how successful the Rays were with the shift, the Orioles will also put a shift on for Teixeira. In response to the shift, he will lay down a bunt and get a hit. Another way to avoid hitting into the shift is by hitting home runs. Teixeira will hit two in the series against the Orioles.
CC Sabathia Will Struggle Again but Will Get a Win
5 of 7CC Sabathia struggled with his control in his first start against the Rays. He is one of those pitchers that can still get a win when he doesn't have his best stuff.
That will be the case in his second start of the season. Sabathia will go seven innings, giving up four runs and nine hits.
Yankees Take 2 out of 3 from the Angels
6 of 7The Yankees will face Albert Pujols and the Angels to end the week. They will lose the first game of the series but win the last two.
The Yankees overall season record at the end of the week will be 5-4.
Alex Rodriguez Will Have Three Home Runs by the End of the Week
7 of 7Alex Rodriguez made solid contact against the Rays. He has looked healthy and able to produce.
Rodriguez will start hitting some home runs this week and by the end of the week have three home runs on the season.
