After winning the Las Vegas race last season, Carl Edwards looks to defend his race title by going the distance again. In seven Las Vegas starts, Edwards has two wins and has never finished off the lead lap.

While Kyle Busch’s success at his home track has been more inconsistent than Carl Edwards, Busch has always been the ultimate checkers-or-wreckers driver. Seven of his nine races on the track have been top 15s, the other two were 38th or worse.
Jimmie Johnson
There is no more dominant of a driver in this field on this track than Jimmie Johnson. With one of his title sponsors supporting this week’s event, Johnson and the No. 48 team need to perform well. That’s the kind of pressure a driver faces when winning four of the last seven races on a track.
