WWE Elimination Chamber 2012: Eve's Lips Now Have Nowhere to Turn but Heel
This past week's RAW was highlighted by that Jezebel Eve slobbing down on John Cena during the show's climax as an increasingly pathetic (and paraplegic) Zack Ryder watched on in heartbreak.
For his troubles, Zack Ryder was wheeled off of the RAW stage by Kane as he continues to flounder in his new-found role as WWE's resident Wile E. Coyote. That stretcher may as well be airbrushed purple and gold and branded with a "WWWYKI" license plate.
Eve, of course, was heavily booed when she demonstrated the gall to resurface that night to check on Zack Ryder, and has since confided in WWE.com that the backlash on Twitter has been quite intense.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The current storyline arc that landed Eve in the heat of the moment is basically the path of no return. There's nothing the WWE can do outside of a TV-MA striptease inside of the Elimination Chamber that will return her to the good graces of the fans. I remember when Lita cheated on Matt Hardy—a former Internet hero in his own right—in real life. The sustained backlash from the fans was enough to drive her to quit the WWE, but not before participating in a very lucrative heel run alongside Edge.
Eve's indiscretion was designed to get her heat. It worked to perfection. It was actually kind of brilliant.
There is simply no going back to the limited babyface Diva who performed so admirably while fans in attendance relieved themselves. And while Eve's acting won't figure to get any better in the foreseeable future, this little she-devil matters.
Expect a full-on heel turn from Eve to come as early as Sunday. It only makes sense for Eve to align herself with Kane, attempting to cost Cena his match against Kane, all while citing that she has embraced the hate per Kane's demonic suggestion.
The big red romance could set up a storyline that could see Zack Ryder get his heat back at WrestleMania (because, let's face it, if he doesn't at least get his match with Kane, the dude is chum bait for life), with Ryder fighting for pride as the lovable underdog against the Big Red Romeo.
The WrestleMania card still has plenty of room to be filled out, and with two months left until the big dance, Michael Cole is going to need more to work with in terms of burying an entire pay-per-view.
Eve and Kane could do good things together as a heel tandem. Both have pretty much run their course as singles stars, and with the WWE's limited showcasing of Divas, the only way females get over in that company is by turning heel or being Beth Phoenix good—a rare characteristic that applies to three Divas in the entire promotion, none of whom are named Eve.
Eve can only get so far on with the whole "heat of the moment" thing, and she will flounder if the WWE continues to play her up as a sympathetic figure whose tongue accidentally slipped into John Cena's mouth (happens to the best of us).
So here's to Eve Torres marching into WrestleMania wearing the black hat. Zack Ryder is the only true sympathetic figure in this entire angle. After all, it was Ryder who built himself into an Internet star, only to make it all the way to the top floor of a local hospital.
But wait. What if Cena turned heel, and Eve Torres...forget it. Let's just keep things simple.
