Liverpool youngsters Sebastián Coates, Andre Wisdom, Raheem Sterling and Jonjo Shelvey could become first-team players in the coming seasons.

That being said, there are so many talented youngsters in world football that Liverpool could sign.

Here are 10 youngsters that Kenny Dalglish has a realistic chance of signing. (The likes of Neymar, Mario Götze, Eden Hazard, Ganso and Stevan Jovetić are not realistic.)

Hiroki Sakai, Right-Back, Kashiwa Reysol

Age: 21

If Hiroki Sakai was English, he'd be proclaimed as the second coming of Phil Neal. Sakai is a broad-shouldered, no-nonsense, road-running right-back.

It's as if he drinks Red Bull during the game because he has seemingly endless energy.

Adam Maher, Attacking Midfielder, AZ

Age: 18

Throughout the Dutch season, Swedish duo Pontus Wernbloom and Rasmus Elm did the dirty work in midfield, which allowed a prodigious Adam Maher to excel.

Wernbloom played so well that CSKA Moscow snapped him up in January.

Lately, it seems Gertjan Verbeek has opted to combine Maher with Elm, while Maarten Martens has been given the green light in a more attacking position.

What I love about Maher is his composure at such a young age—it's as if he's been playing professional football all his life.

I remember watching a young Cesc Fàbregas and thinking this kid could turn out to be a world-class midfielder. I have the same feelings with Maher.

Ryad Boudebouz, Right Winger, Sochaux

Age: 21

If you were to play Ryad Boudebouz, it would either be as a wide forward or an attacking midfielder.

He does tend to give himself a pass on defensive duties, which isn't acceptable if he's playing as a winger. Aside from that, his ability to make plays should be rated over his dribbling.

His dribbling is overrated because he doesn't cause defenders nightmares in the same fashion as Jonathan Pitroipa or Eden Hazard.

Joe Allen, Centre Midfielder, Swansea City

Age: 21

Joe Allen isn't just a complete midfielder, but a complete footballer.

This guy has won back possession 102 times, but he has also threaded 28 key passes while completing 90.3 percent of his passes.

Allen came up through the Swansea City academy, whereas Jordan Henderson cost Liverpool £20 million.

Figure that one out.

Yann M'Vila, Defensive Midfielder, Rennes

Age: 21

You just have to face-palm when you read some Arsenal supporters dismissing Yann M'Vila because they don't need him.

Yes, AC Milan didn't need Patrick Vieira, and how did that turn out?

In a 2-1 friendly win against England, M'Vila bossed the midfield to the extent that it was men vs. kids—the kids being Gareth Barry and Jordan Henderson.

Abel Hernández, Centre Forward, Palermo

Age: 21

Abel Hernández has yet to hit his stride, but when he does, he could score 20 goals per season.

His positioning is superb because he consistently gets off shots.

But at the same time, he needs to be efficient in front of goals because four goals from 30 shots is inefficient.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Centre Foward, Saint-Étienne

Age: 22

Roy Jones Jr.'s song "Can't Be Touched" fits Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's performances during the Africa Cup of Nations.

In a cruel twist of fate after having carried Gabon, he was the player to let the team (and the nation) down when he failed to convert his penalty against Mali.

He can hold the ball up well and is blessed with great vision, which complements his ability to play accurate through balls.

André Ayew, Left Winger, Marseille

Age: 22

During the African Cup of Nations, André Ayew looked so dangerous when he was deployed on the right wing because left-backs could not stop him cutting in and shooting.

What makes Ayew Premier League standard is his pedigree plus his work rate.

He averages 2.3 tackles per game while also waltzing past opposing players.

By the end of his career, instead of being known as Abedi Pele's son, it will be Ayew's father was Abedi Pele.

Gastón Ramírez, Attacking Midfielder, Bologna

Age: 21

In a few seasons' time, Gastón Ramírez should be either on par with Stevan Jovetić or just a bit above him. Liverpool have to forget about Eden Hazard and Jovetić because they'll cost too much.

Take a calculated risk with Ramírez, whose upside is tremendous.

Lucas Moura, Attacking Midfielder, São Paulo

Age: 19

The more people talk about Neymar, the better it is for the clubs who want to sign Lucas Moura.

Why?

Well the hype around Neymar will continue to overshadow Lucas' great performances.

A fabulous dribbler with an eye for goal, the question isn't if he's good enough for Liverpool—rather, does he want to join Liverpool?
