Brady Hoke and the Wolverines hope they can make a lasting impression on the prospects visiting Michigan this weekend.

The Michigan Wolverines will play host to 4-star prospects Yuri Wright (Ramsey, NJ), Armani Reeves (West Roxbury, MA) and Jordan Diamond (Chicago, IL), in addition to 3-star tight end Sam Grant (North Royalton, OH) as well as some of the top recruits in the 2013 class this weekend.

There were many rumors Wright would make a declaration on national television at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl last weekend, however the nation's No. 3 ranked cornerback and No. 57 overall prospect will take his final three official visits before deciding where he will play college football.

"I just want to get a chance to see Michigan and Rutgers and Georgia before I say I have a leader or anything like that," Wright said on January 4th.

Wright visited Notre Dame and Colorado in December, who have both set the bar high for his visit to Michigan this weekend.

"They were great," Wright said. "I had a real good time at Colorado. I had an even better time at Notre Dame when I went there."

Michigan has been recruiting Wright very hard since 4-star cornerback and future Wolverine Terry Richardson (Detroit, MI) considered taking other official visits earlier this summer, however the Wolverines have been on Wright's mind ever since he was a kid.

"Michigan's been my favorite school since I was a little boy," Wright said. "So I just want to check it out. I just always hated Ohio State. So every time I watched that game I was just the biggest Michigan fan."

Wright would be a huge pickup for the Wolverines' already strong 2012 class, however, do not expect a decision from him until closer to national signing day.

Meanwhile, Reeves chose Penn State over Michigan back in August, but the No. 213 overall prospect and No. 17 cornerback has decided to take other official visits in light of the recent scandal and changes to the Nittany Lions' coaching staff.

Reeves was scheduled to visit Penn State this weekend along with his teammate and fellow Nittany Lion commit, Camren Williams (West Roxbury, MA), but decided to pay a visit to Ann Arbor instead.

"The thing is, when we originally scheduled this visit, way back in the fall, my wife and I didn't plan on going on this visit," Camren's father Brian said Monday. "We just wanted them (Cam and Armani) to enjoy this weekend, hang out with future classmates and enjoy themselves, but now we want to be there, so we're looking for a better date.

"Armani is going to swap and visit Michigan this weekend because they've been able to schedule it in a way that fits his schedule. He has a basketball game Friday night, so what he'll do is leave early-Saturday and come back at a decent hour on Sunday."

Reeves and Williams will both visit Ohio State in the coming weeks as well. It bodes well for Michigan that Reeves had them in his final list of teams last summer, but do not expect a decision from him until he visits both Penn State and Ohio State.

Diamond's recruitment has taken many twists and turns and still does not appear to be coming to a close anytime soon. The Simeon High School offensive tackle has already taken trips to Ohio State and Auburn since narrowing his list down to five schools a few weeks ago.

The nation's No. 35 overall prospect will be in Ann Arbor this weekend, Arkansas next weekend and conclude his official visits the following weekend in Wisconsin.

"Whenever the time is right is when I'm going to make my decision," Diamond said on December 29th. "Right now the time isn't right because I don't really know what's going on."

Michigan has been actively pursuing multiple tight end prospects since Pharaoh Brown (Lyndhurst, OH) decided to take a visit to Oregon in the fall and may have found his replacement in Grant, who is a teammate of Wolverine commit Kyle Kalis (Lakewood, OH).

Although Grant is currently committed to Boston College, he has already taken official visits to Arkansas, Oklahoma and Michigan. Grant originally had no plans to visit Michigan for a second time, which could mean he wants to end his recruitment in Ann Arbor this weekend.

"I don't have any lined up, so probably not," Grant said about other visits back on December 18. "I've taken Boston College two weeks ago, Michigan this past week and Arkansas this weekend."

"I'd really like to get it done sooner rather than later, but I still have a lot of thinking to do."

Finally, Michigan's two class of 2013 commits, quarterback Shane Morris (Warren, MI) and safety Dymonte Thomas (Allegiance, OH), will give their best recruiting pitch to junior running back Ty Isaac (Joliet, IL) when the three all visit the campus Saturday.

Isaac already has 12 offers from power conference schools and is excited to see Michigan's campus for a second time.

Ty Isaac's junior season highlights.

"I'll be up there Saturday," Isaac said. "I like the coaches and they are all straight up guys. I saw the campus a little bit in the summer, but that was a group thing. Now I'll be able to go up on my own and actually see what's what."

The Joliet Catholic High School tailback will visit multiple campuses this winter and then trim his list of schools and start to evaluate where he would like to spend the following four or five years of his life.

"Once this period (ends), I can sit down and narrow it down to a top five or three," Isaac said.
