Peyton Manning is the best quarterback to play in the NFL this season for obvious reasons. He threw for more passing yards than anybody else, he led the Indianapolis Colts to 14 victories and should most definitely be a lock to win another NFL Most Valuable Player award. Manning threw for 393 completions this season (the most he’s had since 2002). He threw the ball over 570 times for the first time since 2002 and for only the fourth time in his career. His 68.8 completion percentage is the highest he’s ever had in a regular season, and his 4,500 passing yards are the most he’s had since 2004 when he recorded 4,557 passing yards. He reached 33 touchdown passes for the third time and his 33 touchdowns are the most since his 49 back in 2004. It would be ridiculous if Manning didn’t win the NFL MVP award. With that said here’s how I see the NFL’s top 25 quarterbacks of the 2009 regular season.
