Jackson Comments on Injury and Recovery
Monday, Nov. 2
When asked if he expected to play against New England, the wideout said, "Everything's a green light," per Liz Clarke of the Washington Post.
"I never had to deal with feeling an injury [that] popped like this," Jackson said Sept. 16, according to Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Washington. "I was definitely worried because I never felt that before, with a pop in my hamstring. I definitely knew that wasn't good."
Jackson's Absence Was a Blow to Redskins Offense
Jackson, 28, is the team's best big-play target, and without him in the lineup, quarterback Kirk Cousins has looked to Pierre Garcon, Ryan Grant and Andre Roberts to pick up the slack in the passing game.
Jackson's absence has been a major blow to Cousins, who beat out Robert Griffin III for the starting quarterback job after RG3 suffered a concussion in the preseason.
Jackson's hamstring injury came after he missed the preseason with a separated shoulder. He tallied 56 catches for 1,169 yards and six touchdowns in his first season in Washington in 2014.
